As Mercury then meets Neptune and moves into Capricorn on New Year’s Day, we’re asked to step into the year connected to our soul and intuition. This Christmas week brings a quieter but incredibly potent energy, as though the sky is giving us a little bit of a break. With Venus squaring Neptune and then moving into Capricorn, the invitation is to release unrealistic expectations, especially around relationships, and to lean into compassion, togetherness and understanding. Many people are exhausted, sensitive and on their knees at the end of this year, so this energy asks us to soften, to see through illusion and to allow the day - and each other - to be exactly as we are. As the week unfolds, we’re supported in dreaming again, reconnecting with a sense of magic, and beginning to gently commit to what truly matters to us as we close out the year. ✨ ❤️

This week’s energy is all about revisiting the past so we can move into a new future, with the skies pinpointing where we’re staying stuck and what needs closing out and clearing. With Mercury making many of the same aspects for a third time, it's being a cosmic messenger asking us to pay close attention to signs and synchronicities. Mars square Saturn may stir big emotions that reveal where we’re in a rut or repeating old patterns, while Mercury opposite Uranus helps us tell the truth that enables freedom.
