Today's Rapid Fire topics include:

* Fill-in the blank...excluding Riley Leonard, the player Notre Dame can least afford to lose this season is BLANK.

* Has your ceiling for Notre Dame football changed since training camp started?

* Notre Dame played poorly on the road last year. On a scale of 1 to 10, what’s our confidence that won’t be an issue this season?

* Oklahoma State has announced that they’re putting QR codes on players’ helmets this season. The codes will link to a donation page for the school's NIL fund. Fans watching their games on TV will be able to capture the codes on their phones to help raise the team’s NIL value throughout the season. We share our thoughts on the idea/

* Oklahoma State will open its season on Aug. 31 against defending FCS national champion. Playing FCS opponents is one thing, but would you ever want your team to play an FCS powerhouse?

* ESPN is going to reboot The Sports Reporters. The original Sunday morning show was hosted by Dick Schaap and featured three sports reporters from around the nation discussing various topics. His son, Jeremy Schaap will host the new show. Were you a Sports Reporters watcher?

* Fill-in the blank...It’s BLANK that Nicolas Cage is going to play John Madden in an upcoming biopic.

Wednesday is Mailbag day and Irish Breakdown is answering listener questions about Notre Dame football and more on today's show. Some of today's questions include:

* What happened to Rocco Spindler during training camp?

* Will tight end recruiting look different for Notre Dame if Irish receivers take off in Mike Denbrock's offense?

* How will Denbrock mitigate potential offensive line deficiencies with his offensive designs vs Texas A&M?

* Notre Dame is a 3-point underdog and the game over/under is 46.5 points against Texas A&M. Thoughts?

* Does Notre Dame beat A&M if Riley Leonard throws a pick six or if the Aggies score a special teams touchdown?

* Would we rather see ND's running backs or wide receivers break a record this season?

* What kind of schedule of events will there be for ND home game weekends this season?

* How good will Notre Dame women's basketball be this season?

* Predictions for NFL offensive and defensive Rookie of the Year awards.

We have more to discuss and debate in Rapid Fire as well. See the list of topics below!
