Rapid Fire starts with some comments from Marcus Freeman.

* Freeman likes the play of his defensive line. Do we have more concern about the D-line or the O-line heading into the season?

* The expectation that freshman receivers Jaden Greathouse and Rico Flores Jr will contribute a lot this season.

* Thoughts on the trash talking of the Irish during training camp.

* Ryan Day is yet to name a starting quarterback at Ohio State.

* College football writer Brett McMurphy thinks Stanford football should go independent and the Big Ten should bring in the rest of the Cardinal Olympic sports. Do we Buy or Sell it?

* Jerry Rice thinks there should be an "upper level" at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

* Thoughts on Zeke Elliott going to the New England Patriots.

Rapid Fire starts with Freeman's comments about the new Under Armour deal. Do they make us feel any better about it?

Other topics include:

* Aiden Gobaira and Kevin Bauman's torn ACLs will see them miss the season.

* Notre Dame has named its captains for the season.

* 247 is predicting former Irish quarterback Tyler Buchner to be Alabama's third string quarterback this year.

* We predict Georgia's record for the season.

* Michael Oher, who is the subject of the book and movie "The Blind Side" is suing the family who claimed they adopted him, because he says they conned him to enrich themselves at his expense.

* Scott Hanson of the NFL Network hosts NFL Redzone during the season. And he says he doesn’t take a bathroom break for the seven hours the show is on the air. Could you do it?
