Is it perimenopause or...? Get the basics on this transitional time of your life

Can we just talk about how wholly unprepared most of us are for this massive transitional time in our lives?

It's one of those things we often don't talk about until it starts happening.

And even while it's happening you might feel shame about having symptoms like insomnia, mood swings, hot flashes, changes in libido, skin, metabolism or your cycles.

You're expected to just keep working, tending to your kids and life responsibilities, while also feeling unsure about whether what you're experiencing is normal.

And are these even symptoms of the menopausal transition? What else might be going on in your late 30's, 40's and early 50's that may be at the root of some of your hormonal imbalances?

There's a lot to unpack here. And instead of seeing this time as a complete mystery, I'm here to offer basic information about what perimenopause actually is and how it can be a time of powerful reclamation of yourself rather than a total shitshow.

Listen in to learn:

  • what the difference between menopause, perimenopause, early menopause, premature menopause and post-menopause are
  • when your symptoms might NOT be perimenopause
  • a new paradigm of thought around the perimenopausal time
  • ways to help prepare for a more easeful transition whether you have symptoms or not (and no matter what age you are)
