Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering some quick thoughts about comments made by Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney after reaching 500 homicides, noting how he predicted that Kenney would try to spin this as a positive for Philadelphia and blame guns, exactly what he ended up doing. Then, Dom plays back a clip from Mitch McConnell, who tries making an argument that the situation in Ukraine is the top priority for Republicans, even over inflation and the border, which Dom scoffs at.

Then, Dom welcomes in Councilman David Oh back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the state of the City of Philadelphia after the City once again crested 500 homicides for the second year in a row. First, Dom wishes the Councilman a happy holiday, and asks why he believes no Republicans have declared for Mayor yet, with Oh telling that he’s currently exploring a run himself, but explaining that the Democrats are in a bit of a hurry because of a highly contested Primary.
