Self reliant people know that it's on them to make shit happen and get shit done. No one's coming to save them. Are you self reliant?
You were literally born a winner. You are here, after an epic race between you and one hundred million other reproductive cells, so don't you think it's time to stop living an ordinary average existence and start living your best life? Not the life you were given, a life you create for yourself.
Life as a solopreneur is not for the lazy or weak minded. It's certainly not for those with a plan B mentality or a tendancy to give up easily. Listen as I give you a glimpse into the life of a solopreneur on the path of building a start up and a brand.
In a world full of victims, making a stand, thinking big, taking massive action and living your best life can leave you feeling guilty, like you're doing something wrong.
The system wants you to rely on it but what if you have the courage, drive and determination to be self reliant, making shit happen, getting shit done. Where do you go and who do you turn to when you need to be motivated, energized or inspired? Winners have built the courage, drive and determination to take a leap of faith but that doesn't mean they get stuck on the path. That's where we come in.
Let RAMMFIT CTO Rob James and his guests share wisdom from life experience to help you on your path. Our point of difference? We only talk about what we know to be true because we have lived it and experienced it ourselves. We don't teach or preach from text books. We have walked our walk and we want to help you keep moving forward, never giving up, never giving in.
It's never easy facing your fears and we all have them.
Some people have a fear of speaking up, some people have a fear of clowns and while some people have a fear of the ocean. Me, I have a few and in this podcast episode I want to share with you what they are and how I deal with them every week.
Hiding away and avoiding the things you need to do in order to level up and live your best life is no way to live. You're a victim and you're allowing that negative self talk to override everything.
Let me share with you how I deal with mine and although I feel I'll never overcome them, I'm not hiding and I'm learning how to confront them.
I hope this motivates, energizes and inspires you to face yours.
The more time you spend wishing things were different, the less time you have to live your best life and do the things you really want to do in life.
In life and in business, see things as they are, look for the lesson and keep moving forward. You can't change it, you can't start again. Learn from it and move on, using it as fuel to propel you further along your path.
No one likes to talk about them because it means a little bit of pain and suffering. Not necessarily physical pain and suffering, but it still hurts. It means making a commitment, making sacrifices and enduring adversity.
If you don't have them you'll quit at the first sign of hardship and you'll be another dabbler, an uninspired quitter who gave up.
Listen as we tell you what they are, what they do for you and how you can build them.
There are so many people out there who blame their situation on mental health issues like depression when in actual fact, they've just given up and became another negative, uninspired quitter who lacks courage, drive and determination, so all of a sudden the world owes them something.
Don't get on the mental health bandwagon because you think you don't have a choice.
Change the language, create your own opportunities by thinking positive and educating yourself on how to make the necessary changes that need to be made so you can live your best life.
Chase your own hopes, dreams, goals and ambitions. Talk about things that set your soul on fire with other people who think the same way. Surround yourself with people who energize and inspire you. If you don't know any, it's time to start making changes because you're running out of tomorrows.
Silence your inner critic and live your best life because what you seek is a game you can win.
I know what it's like dealing with racism. I've experienced it myself. From society, friends and the police. It's not pretty but it happens and the best thing you can do is understand that racism will probably be around forever. You will always be judged in some way, shape or form.
Don't be a victim to it. Stop using the race card and stop blaming your lack of courage, drive and determination to overcome it on mental health issues. The best thing you can do is use it as fuel to help you live your best life.
Be so good that people can't ignore you. Be the best example of what ever it is you are so that people want to know more about you. Own it. Embrace your heritage and use it as armour and something your proud of. Don't be a victim and don't let people's assumptions about you based on the colour of your skin be the reason you become depressed and go down a path of self destruction. You have a choice.
Rise up, level up and make shit happen, get shit done. You're running out of tomorrows. Life is too short to worry about narrow minded racists who don't have the courage, drive and determination to do what you do. Let them judge. You just focus on where you're going and who you want to be because what you seek is a game you can win.
