The Creative Chip) but this time to defend, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) starring Jason David Frank, Amy Jo Johnson and Paul Freeman. They go on a trip down 90s nostalgia lane and discuss why this franchise meant so much to them as children. They talk about how FOINE Amy Jo Johnson (also shoutout Naomi Scoot, you fine too) was as the Pink Ranger. Amazonian Jules makes an appearance. They also compare the film to the more recent 2017 movie and discuss its pros and cons. Chris dives deep into which ranger he identifies with the most and surprises the boys with action figures. Christian is in love with both versions of the pink ranger and wants to see underboob. Alejandro contemplates dipping his toes into the anime pool with no trunks on.

This week we learned to defend ourselves in this perfectly unique film titled The Art of Self-Defense (2019), starring Jessie Eisenberg, Imogen Poots, and Alessandro Nivola. The movie takes on societal norms, toxic masculinity, revenge and quasi-homo erotica. The Boys take on Alejandro’s spelling, and his thought process that this is all an allegory to heaven or death. Christian learns how NOT to do a murder. The Boys also touch on what they would say if they committed murder. This is an interesting film that is worth watching so you all can be as confused as we are.
