The dope duo is joined once again by actor, writer and improvisor, David McEuen, to defend the cinema classic that is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), starring Johnny Depp, Benicio del Toro, with cameos by Tobey Maguire, Cameron Diaz, Gary Busey and Christina Ricci. They start the episode off HOT by talking about PC culture and what words and euphemisms they think are fun yet appropriate. They eventually get into the movie, and boy oh boy do they get DEEP into this one. Christian finds out this movie is based on the literature classic by Hunter S. Thompson. Alejandro goes down the list of drugs used in the film. David traps a bird in a tent with a Kirkland poppyseed muffin.

This week we learned to defend ourselves in this perfectly unique film titled The Art of Self-Defense (2019), starring Jessie Eisenberg, Imogen Poots, and Alessandro Nivola. The movie takes on societal norms, toxic masculinity, revenge and quasi-homo erotica. The Boys take on Alejandro’s spelling, and his thought process that this is all an allegory to heaven or death. Christian learns how NOT to do a murder. The Boys also touch on what they would say if they committed murder. This is an interesting film that is worth watching so you all can be as confused as we are.
