After KC Wright and his mother were big winners on Wheel of Fortune in November 2023, they wanted to do something fun with the money. Seek Texas is a new, immersive scavenger hunt spanning the Lone Star State, inviting locals and travelers nationwide to explore hidden gems, solve creative clues, and win real prizes. The project is gaining attention thanks in part to the recent Forest Fenn documentary, which reignited public fascination with treasure hunting. Seek Texas channels that same spirit, but in a much safer, family-friendly, and collaborative way --- no digging or danger, just discovery.Through the platform at www.SeekTexas.com, participants receive creative clues that guide them to local landmarks, off-the-beaten-path destinations, historical sites, and quirky roadside attractions. Along the way, they’ll solve puzzles, engage with Texas culture, and earn entries to win a grand prize worth thousands of dollars.Unlike the Forest Fenn hunt, Seek Texas is designed to be accessible to all, encouraging collaboration among participants and it does not require physical digging. It’s a tech-enabled journey that blends the thrill of the unknown with the safety and inclusivity of a modern-day adventure game.The scavenger hunt will run through the summer of 2025, with new locations and clues dropping each month. Families, friend groups, road-trippers, and solo explorers are all invited to take part.
