The Phillies sweep the brief two-game series against the Tigers. The pitching staff was able to hold a poor Tigers offense to only 2 runs during the series. The Phillies continue to struggle scoring runs and were counting on the likes of Roman Quinn and Nick Williams to supply key home runs.
