Speaking of the days of yore in show business, there's a perception that celebrities in the golden and silver ages of cinema were classier than modern ones.  This is probably true.  It's also probably not quite as true as we think.  Back then celebrities weren't constantly being featured in TMZ or airing their craziness on Twitter.  If they were dirtbags, we didn't know about it.  Perhaps it was better that way.
