Then, Dom tells about a trade involving Philadelphia Flyer Ivan Provorov, reading back commentary from Philadelphia Inquirer Mike Sielski who suggested the Defenseman was moved due to his recent display of anti-LGBT behavior in protesting a Flyers Pride Night.

Then, Dom welcomes in SEPTA Police Chief Chuck Lawson onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear what the new Chief hopes to implement to create a safer environment on Philadelphia’s public transit. First, Dom and Lawson discuss an initiative that’s been making local headlines, a call to ban ‘shiestys,’ the black ski-masks you often see on news reports worn by criminals concealing their identity. Lawson first tells about his history, telling that he’s been a local cop for around 30 years before his ascension to SEPTA Chief, explaining how he hopes to use his experience. Then, Lawson offers his expertise and opinion in assessing the current environment in society as things seem to trend toward more lawlessness.
