David talks about how he was a victim of spiritual abuse, which is when an individual uses religion as their way to control others. He’s had many experiences with this type of manipulation and found himself seeking validation externally rather than internally because it's easier that way. After realizing the need for self-validation in his life, David worked on developing emotional maturity instead so that he can escape from the matrix and establish personal boundaries more effectively!
