On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a few thoughts on Ja Morant's virtuoso performance on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Morant was the best player on the floor, and he had one of the greatest highlight reel dunks in recent NBA Playoff history; In many ways, Morant's performance was reminiscent of what we saw from Derrick Rose back in 2011... and therein lies the problem. Rose, like Morant, was arguably the most exciting player in the NBA, but his shortcomings were exposed in the postseason by LeBron James and the Miami Heat. Assuming the Grizzlies get by the Timberwolves in round one, expect Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors to do the same to Morant in round two. Later, Jason shares a quick note on the Miami Heat's series-clinching victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The fact that the Heat got it done in five games isn't all that surprising, but what is surprising is how mortal they made Trae Young look. One could argue that the Heat exposed a fatal flaw in Young's game the same way they did to Giannis Antetokounmpo a few years ago. Here's to hoping Trae can turn that weakness into a strength the same way Giannis did. Finally, our fearless leader closes the show by recapping his NFL Mock Draft that he dropped earlier this week on FOXSports.com. Who's going number 1? Will any quarterback get drafted in the top half of the first round? How many pass rushers will go in the top 10? Jason has the answer to all those questions - and more!
