That's not only okay.. but it's completely normal. What keeps so many from believing this to be true, is a lifetime of conditioning that we're all here to undo- together. Tell your ego to chill for a sec and join us in normalizing and destigmatizing this conversation. We'll discuss grounding techniques and share personal testimonies that just might help you navigate your own jagged little feels. 

My how the turns have tabled! Its Part 2 of The Friend-Zone Episode and you're in for a real, tell-all treat. This week the girls invite Corks in Cowtown's leading man, Barton Fluker, to share with us the male perspective!! After the chambongs... it was on, poppin.. and straight to business! & by business we mean Barton's big CLAP BACK moment! It's called the friend-zone, sweetie! And like it or not, we've all run into it a time or two... okay, or ten.. !! The girls take a deep dive into the female perspective of the friend-zone and where they've encountered it most recently. They discuss its possible origin, its jagged little discomforts, and what kind of behavior can be identified with the classification. We lay it on thick.. but hear us out & rest assured, male-listeners, we have a special representative coming to speak on your behalf next week for a special "Part 2" of the Friend-Zone Episode! 

This week the girls dive into Tay's crazy life story and the history with her own biological father. She discusses her relationship with the dad that raised her as his own and breaks down how the dynamic between the two has translated into her adulthood. We've all got a story.. (some more wild than others) but the more we can learn about the people we came from- the more we can learn about ourselves. 

The girls get together this week remotely and unpack each of their personal stories with their Dad's/Father figures. They discuss how fatherlessness is the most universal wound, how this manifests into adulthood, how the idea of "Daddy Issues" does not necessarily equate to promiscuity alone, and having empathy, because in reality, all parents are just "winging it."

Yup, we are STILL having the conversation. And rightfully so. The girls get together this week and talk about uncomfortable conversations they've had recently, and where they've slipped up. Tay and Ry dig into how white people are conditioned to turn blind eyes towards white fragility amongst friends and family, and the importance of learning how to disagree with people you can't just cut out of your life. Christy expands upon the importance of staying home and what the implications are if you're caught prioritizing a check over public safety in the music community. 

Tay and Ry kick off this week's episode with different modalities of connecting to Source, Creator, God. They almost accurately cited the bible twice so... things get pretty deep. As always, please don't @ them. They speak to opening up your mind, embracing your spiritual gifts, and trying not to "put God in a box".
