Japan slowly opens its doors to foreign workers
Japan is one of the world's fastest-ageing societies, with one of the lowest birth rates. For its economy to thrive, it needs more workers. On June 14, parliament passed an immigration reform that will lead to a rise in the number of foreign workers.
