今日は AIのことっていうトピックで話します。

Today, I will talk about the topic of AI.

みんなは AIをよく使いますか？

Does everyone use AI often?

AI最近すごいですね。

AI is amazing lately, isn't it?

僕は AIをよく使います。

I use AI often.

文を書くときとか英語を翻訳するときとかですね。

Like when I write sentences or translate English.

翻訳するって知ってますか？

Do you know what "honyaku suru" means?

翻訳するは英語で translateですね。

"Honyaku suru" is "translate" in English.

英語を翻訳するときはとても便利だと思います。

I think it's very convenient when translating English.

前は Googleでよく調べてました。

Before, I used to look things up on Google often.

ちょっとめんどくさいですよね。

It's a bit of a hassle, isn't it?

でも今 AIに聞くとすぐ教えてくれます。

But now, when I ask AI, it tells me right away.

だから AIをよく使うんだけど、最近は AIの成長が早すぎると思うんです。

So I use AI often, but I think AI's growth is too fast lately.

僕は新しいテクノロジーが好きなんですね。

I like new technology.

だから AIのことはよくチェックしてます。

So I check on AI things often.

でも新しいことが早すぎます。

But the new things are too fast.

とっても早いんですね。

It's very fast.

新しいことをチェックしてもまた新しいことが出てきます。

Even if I check new things, new things come out again.

これって本当に大変なんです。

This is really tough.

最近は少し飽きちゃいましたね。

I've gotten a little tired of it lately.

なんか新しい AIも大丈夫って感じです。

I feel like, "I'm okay with new AI."

本当に前はいろいろな AIをチェックしてたんです。

I really used to check various AIs before.

チャット GPTとかジェミニとかクロードとかですね。

Like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.

最近はクロードがすごいみたいですけど。

It seems Claude is amazing lately, though.

もうクロードは使ってませんね。

I don't use Claude anymore.

使ったことがありません。

I have never used it.

僕はジェミニをよく使うんですね。

I use Gemini often.

仕事でも使うし、プライベートでも使います。

I use it for work and also for private use.

Googleのアプリをよく使うんですよ。

I use Google apps often.

だからジェミニをよく使ってたんですけど、クロードがすごいって聞いて。

So I was using Gemini often, but I heard Claude is amazing.

うーん、クロードを使おうかなって思いました。

Hmm, I thought about maybe using Claude.

でも使いませんでした。

But I didn't use it.

すぐジェミニでも同じことができるって思ってたんですね。

I thought that soon Gemini would be able to do the same things.

だから最近は新しい AIはあまり使ってません。

So lately, I don't use new AI very much.

もちろん SNSで AIのことを見たり聞いたりします。

Of course, I see and hear about AI on SNS.

でもあまり勉強はしてませんね。

But I'm not studying it much.

もう大丈夫って感じです。

I feel like I've had enough.

AIって本当に成長が早くてびっくりしてますね。

I'm surprised that AI grows so truly fast.

僕は日本語を教えてます。

I teach Japanese.

日本語の先生です。

I am a Japanese teacher.

でも AIって言語を教えるのが本当に上手なんですね。

But AI is really good at teaching languages.

だからよく考えますね。

So I think about it often.

自分の仕事は大丈夫かなとか自分の仕事って AIの方がいいかなとかよく考えますけど、やっぱり人と人が話すことはとても大切だと思っています。

I often think about whether my job is okay or if AI is better for my job, but I still think that people talking to each other is very important.

これは AIにできないことだと思っています。

I believe this is something AI cannot do.

だから今日も頑張ってポッドキャストしています。

今日は最近したいことっていうトピックで話します。

Today, I am going to talk about the topic of what I want to do lately.

最近 日本はめちゃくちゃあったかくなりました。

Lately, Japan has become incredibly warm.

もう夏が来るっていう感じですね。

It feels like summer is coming already.

本当にあったかくて時々 Ｔシャツが着れますね。

It's really warm, and sometimes I can wear a T-shirt.

Ｔシャツも大丈夫です。

T-shirts are fine too.

本当にあったかくなったんですね。

It has really become warm.

あったかくなるといろいろなことをしたくなりますよね。

When it gets warm, you want to do various things, don't you?

ぼくはあったかくなるとアウトドアのことをしたくなるんですね。

When it gets warm, I feel like doing outdoor things.

ぼくはアウトドアが大好きなんですね。

I love the outdoors.

外でピクニックしたり、ハイキングしたり、自転車に乗ったり、ビーチに行ったり、アウトドアが好きなんです。

I like the outdoors, like having a picnic outside, hiking, riding a bicycle, or going to the beach.

アウトドアの一つで、今 本当にしたいことがあります。

Among outdoor activities, there is something I really want to do now.

それはキャンプです。

It is camping.

キャンプめちゃくちゃしたいですね。

I really want to go camping.

ぼくは子供がいます。

I have a child.

子供がまだ小さいからキャンプに行かなかったんですね。

Since my child is still small, I haven't gone camping.

子供とキャンプに行くのはちょっと難しいと思っていたんです。

I thought it would be a bit difficult to go camping with a child.

ピクニックはよく行きました。

We went on picnics often.

でも キャンプはまだです。

But we haven't done camping yet.

最近 ぼくの子供はキャンプ大丈夫だと思うんですよね。

Lately, I think my child will be fine with camping.

いろいろなことが一人でできるようになりました。

They have become able to do various things by themselves.

たくさん話したり、自分で服を着たり、自分で物を作ったり、絵を描いたり、いろいろできるようになったんですね。

They can now talk a lot, put on clothes by themselves, make things by themselves, draw pictures, and do many things.

だから キャンプ大丈夫だと思うんです。

So, I think camping will be fine.

今度 一緒にキャンプに行こうと思ってるんですね。

I'm thinking of going camping together next time.

ぼくのキャンプはけっこう、まあ、すごいんですね。

My camping is quite serious.

ぼくはテントにねます。

I sleep in a tent.

そして ご飯も自分で作ります。

And I also cook meals myself.

焚き火もします。

I also make a bonfire.

ぼくのキャンプはけっこう 本気なんです。

My camping is quite serious.

そうだから 小さい子供と一緒に行くのが心配だったんですね。

That's why I was worried about going with a small child.

でも 今は大丈夫だと思います。

But I think it's okay now.

時々 ぼくの子供とキャンプのことを話すんです。

Sometimes I talk about camping with my child.

焚き火したいとかキャンプ行きたいって話すんですね。

They talk about wanting to make a bonfire or wanting to go camping.

ぼくの子供はあまりわかってません。

My child doesn't really understand it well.

でも したいとか行きたいって言うんですね。

But they say they want to do it or want to go.

だから 今はチャンスだと思ってます。

So, I think now is the chance.

子供がしたいとか行きたいっていう気持ちの時は、これはチャンスですよね。

When a child feels like they want to do it or go, it's a chance, isn't it?

だから ちょっと簡単なキャンプをしようと思ってます。

So, I'm thinking of doing a simple camping trip.

最近 キャンプに行ってないからめちゃくちゃ楽しみなんですよね。

Since I haven't gone camping lately, I'm really looking forward to it.

どうして キャンプで食べるご飯って美味しいんですかねめちゃくちゃ美味しいですよね。

I wonder why the food eaten at camp is so delicious; it's incredibly tasty, isn't it?

そして キャンプの時 コーヒーを飲むと本当に幸せですよね。

And when you drink coffee at camp, you're really happy, aren't you?

どうしてですかね ちょっとわかりません。

I wonder why; I don't really know.

でも 今 めちゃくちゃキャンプしたい気持ちです。

But right now, I really feel like camping.

今日は最近の日本語レッスンのことっていうトピックで話します。

Today, I am going to talk about the topic of recent Japanese lessons.

ぼくは日本語を教えています。

I teach Japanese.

オンラインで教えてます。

I teach online.

たくさんの生徒さんがいるけど、最近 生徒さんの日本語がめちゃくちゃ上手になってるんですね。

I have many students, and lately, their Japanese has been getting incredibly good.

生徒さんは 大体 週に 1回レッスンをします。

Students usually have a lesson once a week.

まあ 時々 週に 2回する生徒さんもいます。

Well, sometimes there are students who take them twice a week.

でも だいたい 週に 1回ですね。

But it's mostly once a week.

だから 週に 1回のレッスンって多くないですよね。

So, a lesson once a week isn't much, is it?

週に 1回のレッスンで日本語が上手になるってすごいと思うんですよ。

I think it's amazing to become good at Japanese with just one lesson a week.

ぼくの生徒さんの一人にどうやって勉強してるんですかって聞いたんです。

I asked one of my students how they study.

そうしたら、その生徒さんの勉強の方法がめちゃくちゃ良かったんです。

As it turns out, that student's study method was incredibly good.

だから 今日 シェアします。

So, I will share it today.

その人は日本語の初心者でしたね。

That person was a beginner in Japanese.

まあ ビギナーです。

Well, a beginner.

初めて日本語を勉強しました。

They studied Japanese for the first time.

ひらがなとかカタカナから勉強し始めました。

They started studying from hiragana and katakana.

そして 今はまだ初級です。

And they are still at the elementary level now.

でも いろいろな会話ができます。

But they can have various conversations.

その人の勉強方法が面白いんですね。

That person's study method is interesting.

1つ目の勉強方法はふせんを使うことです。

The first study method is using sticky notes.

ふせんってわかりますか。

Do you know what sticky notes (fusen) are?

ふせんは紙とか壁とか色々なものにペタペタ貼れる紙ですね。

Sticky notes are paper that you can stick onto things like paper or walls.

その紙に勉強したい言葉を書くんです。

You write the words you want to study on that paper.

そして そのふせんを貼ります。

And then, you stick that note up.

例えば、冷蔵庫っていう言葉を勉強したい 覚えたいときはふせんに冷蔵庫って書きます。

For example, when you want to study or memorize the word "refrigerator," you write "refrigerator" on a sticky note.

そして そのふせんを冷蔵庫に貼ります。

And then, you stick that note on the refrigerator.

これってめちゃくちゃいい勉強方法なんですね。

This is an incredibly good study method.

新しい言葉を覚えるときはたくさん見たりたくさん聞いたりすることが大切です。

When memorizing new words, it is important to see and hear them a lot.

だから その人は冷蔵庫の言葉を毎日見ます。

So, that person sees the word for "refrigerator" every day.

そして 毎日 言えますよね。

And they can say it every day, right?

これが めちゃくちゃいい勉強方法なんですね。

This is an incredibly good study method.

その人のしていることの 2つ目は、スマホのスクリーンを使うことです。

The second thing that person is doing is using their smartphone screen.

スマホって毎日使いますよね。

You use your smartphone every day, don't you?

本当にいつも使うと思います。

I think you really use it all the time.

このスクリーンに自分が勉強したい言葉とかフレーズをメモのアプリで書くんです。

You write the words or phrases you want to study on this screen using a memo app.

そして そのメモアプリを写真に撮ります。

And then, you take a photo of that memo app.

その写真を自分のホームスクリーンにするんです。

You make 그 photo your home screen.

これも めちゃくちゃいいアイディアですよね。

This is also an incredibly good idea, isn't it?

だって スマホを見るときはいつもその言葉とかそのフレーズを見ますよね。

Because whenever you look at your phone, you see those words or phrases, right?

そして ぼくはその生徒さんにアドバイスしました。

And then, I gave that student some advice.

スマホを開けるとき、その言葉を言ってから開けてくださいってアドバイスしたんですね。

I advised them to say the word before opening their phone.

そうしたら 生徒さんは勉強したい言葉を覚えることができます。

That way, the student can memorize the words they want to study.

いやー、本当にめちゃくちゃいい勉強方法ですよね。

Wow, it really is an incredibly good study method.

Today, I am going to talk about the topic that I am preparing right now.

そうです。

That's right.

新しいプロジェクトのじゅんびをしてます。

I am preparing for the new project.

本当にたくさんじゅんびしてるんですね。

I am truly doing a lot of preparation.

チームのメンバーとたくさんミーティングして、ぼくたちのコミュニティのビジョンは何がいいかなとかたくさん話してます。

I'm having many meetings with team members and talking a lot about what our community's vision should be.

そして 新しいカリキュラムも作ってます。

And I am also creating a new curriculum.

ぼくたちのコミュニティは日本語を勉強している人のコミュニティです。

Our community is for people who are studying Japanese.

もちろんレッスンもあります。

Of course, there are also lessons.

レッスンもするけど、一人で勉強するのは大変ですよね。

We have lessons, but studying alone is tough, isn't it?

ぼくも一人で勉強するのはあまり好きじゃないです。

I also don't really like studying alone.

時々 あきらめちゃいますね。

Sometimes I just give up.

でも、ぼくたちのコミュニティはサポートしてくれる友達がたくさんいます。

But our community has many friends who will support you.

みんなでサポートしてみんなで日本語を上手になるっていうコミュニティです。

It is a community where everyone supports each other and everyone gets better at Japanese together.

だから レッスンはとても大切です。

That's why lessons are very important.

でも、レッスンじゃない時もとても大切なんですね。

But the time outside of lessons is also very important.

レッスンじゃない時、コミュニティの人にたくさんアウトプットします。

During non-lesson times, we output a lot to the people in the community.

毎日の勉強を自分のルーティーンにしてほしいんですね。

I want you to make daily study your own routine.

そして 日本語を勉強している人が自分のしたいことができるっていうビジョンです。

And the vision is that people studying Japanese can do what they want to do.

だから 色々なものをじゅんびしてるんだけど、どんなコンテンツがコミュニティの中にあるといいですかってみんなに話したいんですね。

So, I'm preparing various things, but I want to talk to everyone about what kind of content would be good to have in the community.

今 たくさんの人と話しています。

I am talking to many people now.

例えば、文法のビデオがあるといいですとか。

For example, things like "it would be good to have grammar videos."

日本語の言葉のリストがあるといいですとか 簡単に質問できる Q&Aがあるといいですとか ネットフリックスとかアニメとかおすすめのコンテンツをシェアするところがあるといいですとか、いろいろなアイディアを今聞いてるんです。

I'm listening to various ideas now, such as having a list of Japanese words, having a Q&A where you can easily ask questions, or having a place to share recommended content like Netflix or anime.

勉強の方法はみんなちがいますよね。

Everyone's way of studying is different, right?

アプローチがちがいます。

The approach is different.

だから、いろいろなアプローチをしたいときにいろいろなものがあるコミュニティにしたいんです。

Therefore, I want to make it a community where there are various things for when you want to take various approaches.

そして ぼくたちのレッスンの一番面白いところはアウトプットをたくさんすることです。

And the most interesting part of our lessons is doing a lot of output.

レッスンの時、文法の勉強はしません。

During lessons, we don't study grammar.

文法の勉強はレッスンの前とレッスンの後で自分でします。

Grammar study is done by yourself before and after the lesson.

コミュニティのメンバーとかぼくたち先生と自分で勉強するんです。

We study on our own with community members and our teachers.

そして レッスンで勉強したことを話します。

And then we talk about what we studied in the lesson.

たくさんアウトプットするんですね。

We do a lot of output.

ぼくたちのカリキュラムは一つのテーマで 2ヶ月くらいです。

Our curriculum is about two months for one theme.

1つのテーマが終わるときは、日本の人をぼくたちのレッスンに招待します。

When one theme finishes, we invite a Japanese person to our lesson.

その人は先生じゃないです。

That person is not a teacher.

普通の日本の人です。

They are an ordinary Japanese person.

その人に勉強したことをアウトプットします。

We output what we studied to that person.

先生じゃないですよ。

They are not a teacher.

これはめちゃくちゃ面白いアイディアだと思うんですよね。

今日は健康のためにしていることっていうトピックで話します。

Today, I am going to talk about the topic of what I do for my health.

みんなは健康のためにしてることってありますか？

Is there anything that all of you do for your health?

例えば、ランニングしたり、ジムに行ったり、ヨガをしたり、いろいろなことをしてますか。

For example, do you do various things like running, going to the gym, or doing yoga?

日本は今 健康ブームだと思います。

I think there is a health boom in Japan right now.

たくさんの人がランニングしたり、ジムに行ったり散歩したりしてます。

Many people are running, going to the gym, or taking walks.

そうですね。

That's right.

時々 自転車に乗っている人もいますね。

Sometimes there are also people riding bicycles.

だから みんな健康に気をつけていると思うんですよね。

So, I think everyone is taking care of their health.

ぼくの友達や生徒さんもジムに行ったり、ランニングしたりしてる人がいます。

Some of my friends and students also go to the gym or go running.

ぼくの生徒さんの一人はマラソンを走ってます。

One of my students runs marathons.

すごいですよね。

That's amazing, isn't it?

マラソンですよ。

A marathon!

ランニングはわかります。

I understand running.

でも マラソンってめちゃくちゃ大変ですよね。

But marathons are incredibly tough, aren't they?

42キロくらい走りますよね。

You run about 42 kilometers, right?

ぼくはできませんね。

I can't do that.

無理です。

It's impossible for me.

だから 今 たくさんの人は健康に気をつけてます。

So, many people are taking care of their health now.

ぼくも最近 健康に気をつけてるんです。

I have also been taking care of my health lately.

例えば、早くねて早く起きることです。

For example, it is sleeping early and waking up early.

これを日本語で早ね早起きって言います。

In Japanese, we call this "Hayane Hayaoki."

もう一度 言いますよ。

I'll say it one more time.

早ね早起きです。

It's "Hayane Hayaoki."

ぼくは最近 9時ごろにねます。

Lately, I go to bed around 9 o'clock.

早くねるんですね。

I sleep early.

そして 朝 5時ごろに起きます。

And then, I wake up around 5 o'clock in the morning.

早く起きるんです。

I wake up early.

早く起きてから散歩します。

After waking up early, I take a walk.

とても短い散歩だけど、だいたい 10分くらいですね。

It's a very short walk, about 10 minutes or so.

でも 散歩をすると目が覚めるんです。

But when I take a walk, I wake up fully.

そして 散歩の最後にコーヒーを買って家で飲むんです。

And then, at the end of my walk, I buy a coffee and drink it at home.

これが なんかいい感じなんですよね。

It feels really good.

なんか体にエネルギーがあるっていう感じになります。

It makes me feel like my body has energy.

そして 家に帰ってからコーヒーを飲んで本を読みます。

Then, after returning home, I drink my coffee and read a book.

だから 早ね早起きをするとなんか体がいい感じなんですよね。

So, when I sleep early and wake up early, my body feels great.

いい感じで 1日が始まります。

The day starts off in a good way.

これが 1つ目の健康のためにしていることです。

This is the first thing I do for my health.

2つ目は運動してます。

The second thing is that I exercise.

運動ですけど、ジムとかじゃないです。

It's exercise, but not at a gym or anything like that.

簡単な運動ですね。

It's simple exercise.

ぼくのうちにベランダがあります。

There is a veranda at my house.

ベランダは英語でバルコニーですね。

"Veranda" is "balcony" in English.

ぼくは朝 ベランダに出て簡単な運動をします。

In the morning, I go out onto the veranda and do simple exercises.

ストレッチしたり深呼吸したりです。

I do things like stretching and deep breathing.

これが またいいんですね。

This is also great.

朝 起きてベランダで朝の太陽を浴びます。

I wake up in the morning and soak up the morning sun on the veranda.

これが とてもいい感じなんです。

It feels very good.

本当に早ね早起きと朝 ベランダで運動すると 1日がいい感じです。

春はてりたまバーガーがあるんです。

The Teritama Burger is a burger that combines a Teriyaki burger with an egg.

だからこれはてりやきバーガーと卵のコラボレーションです。

でも時々食べたくなりますよね。

やき肉もマックと同じです。

Yakiniku is the same as McDonald's.

でも時々やき肉屋さんに行ってお肉をたくさん食べるのがめちゃくちゃいいんですよね。

But going to a Yakiniku restaurant sometimes and eating a lot of meat is just great, isn't it?

ストレスはっさんっていうかもう食よくばくはつっていうかそんな感じです。

It's like relieving stress, or rather, like an explosion of appetite.

他にも時々飲みたくなるものもあります。

それはレッドブルです。

今日は日本語は無理ですっていうトピックで話します。

Today, I will talk about the topic "Japanese is impossible."

ちょっとどうして日本語は無理ですかって思った人いると思います。

I think some people might be wondering, "Wait, why is Japanese impossible?"

これは日本語がすぐできるようになります。

This refers to "You will be able to speak Japanese immediately."

日本語は簡単ですっていうのが無理ですよっていう意味です。

It means that saying "Japanese is easy" is impossible.

今いろいろなYouTubeとかSNSを見ていると早く日本語を学べます。

When looking at various YouTube channels or SNS now, they say "You can learn Japanese fast."

とか早く日本語ができますっていうコンテンツが多いと思うんです。

I see a lot of content saying things like "You can speak Japanese quickly."

ぼくはこれは少しちがうと思っています。

I think this is a bit different.

ぼくは日本語をオンラインで教えています。

I teach Japanese online.

生徒さんたちはみんな勉強をがんばっています。

My students are all working hard on their studies.

本当によくがんばっているんですね。

They are really doing their best.

毎日毎日ルーティーンで日本語を勉強しています。

They study Japanese every single day as a routine.

そして少しずつできるようになっています。

And little by little, they are becoming able to do it.

これは簡単じゃないですね。

This is not easy.

言葉を勉強することは本当に楽しいです。

Studying words is truly fun.

いろいろな文化がわかるし、その国の人とコミュニケーションをとることができるし、本当に楽しいと思います。

You can understand various cultures and communicate with people from those countries; I think it's truly fun.

でも言葉の勉強はすごく時間がかかるんです。

But studying a language takes a lot of time.

簡単な方法はありません。

There are no easy methods.

みんないろいろな方法をして、そして失敗して時々うまくいってどんどん日本語が上手になるんです。

Everyone tries various ways, fails, sometimes succeeds, and gradually becomes better at Japanese.

だからYouTubeとかSNSの日本語すぐできますっていうポストはやっぱりちがうと思うんですよね。

That's why I think posts saying "You can do Japanese immediately" are, after all, different.

だってぼくは日本語を話します。

Because I speak Japanese.

もちろんぼくは日本人ですよね。

Of course, I am Japanese.

日本人だけど、会議とか仕事の時とかいつもいつもどうやって話すといいか本当によく考えます。

Even though I'm Japanese, I always think very hard about how to speak during meetings or work.

めちゃくちゃ考えるんですね。

I think about it a lot.

そして時々コミュニケーションはうまくいきません。

And sometimes communication doesn't go well.

日本人だけど、日本語を話すのは難しいんです。

Even for a Japanese person, speaking Japanese is difficult.

そして英語も勉強しています。

And I am also studying English.

ぼくはずっと英語を勉強しているけど、どう言ったらいいかなとか難しいなって思うことはたくさんあります。

I've been studying English for a long time, but there are many things that make me think, "How should I say this?" or "This is difficult."

でもまだ勉強しています。

But I am still studying.

だから新しい言葉を勉強するとき、簡単な方法はありません。

So, when studying a new language, there are no easy methods.

もちろん正しい方法はあると思います。

I think there are certainly correct methods, of course.

もちろん正しい方法はあると思います。

But I don't think it's easy.

簡単じゃないけど、勉強した言葉を使ってコミュニケーションができたら本当にうれしいですよね。

It's not easy, but it makes me really happy when I can communicate using the words I've studied.

ぼくの生徒さんも先生日本語で話せましたって話してくれます。

My students also tell me, "Teacher, I was able to speak in Japanese."

それがめちゃくちゃうれしいし、日本語を教えていて楽しいんですよね。

That makes me very happy, and teaching Japanese is fun.

ぼくたちは日本語を勉強するサポートするコミュニティを作ろうとしています。

We are trying to create a community to support studying Japanese.

一人で勉強するんじゃなくて、みんなでサポートして勉強します。

Instead of studying alone, everyone supports each other and studies together.

そしてあきらめません。

And we won't give up.

あきらめないでずっと勉強します。

We will study continuously without giving up.

今日は終わりがある良さっていうトピックで話します。

Today, I will talk about the topic "the goodness of having an end."

終わりがある良さってどういう意味かわかりますか？

Do you know what "the goodness of having an end" means?

終わりがある良さは終わりがあるといいですねっていう意味です。

"The goodness of having an end" means that it is good to have an end.

日本は終わりがある良さみたいな文化があります。

Japan has a culture that values the goodness of things ending.

例えば桜です。

For example, cherry blossoms.

今桜の季節です。

It is now the cherry blossom season.

とてもあったかくて桜が咲きました。

It was very warm, and the cherry blossoms bloomed.

でも今桜がちっています。

But now, the cherry blossoms are falling.

桜がちりますは、桜の花が落ちることです。

"Sakura ga chirimasu" means that the cherry blossom petals are falling.

桜の花が落ちることを桜がちりますって言います。

The act of cherry blossom petals falling is called "sakura ga chirimasu."

そうです。

That's right.

桜の季節が終わります。

The cherry blossom season is ending.

桜って本当に日本の文化ですよね。

Cherry blossoms are truly a part of Japanese culture, aren't they?

日本の人は桜が好きです。

Japanese people love cherry blossoms.

ぼくも春になると桜を見に行かなくちゃって思います。

I also feel like I have to go see the cherry blossoms when spring comes.

なんか春のルーティーンみたいな感じですよね。

It feels like a kind of spring routine, doesn't it?

桜が咲くとすぐ見に行かなくちゃいけません。

Once the cherry blossoms bloom, you have to go see them right away.

だって桜は1週間くらいでちります。

Because cherry blossoms fall in about one week.

桜の花が落ちて桜の季節が終わるからです。

It is because the petals fall and the cherry blossom season ends.

だから日本の人は見に行かなくちゃって思うんですね。

That is why Japanese people feel they must go see them.

これは桜が終わることがわかっているから見に行くと思います。

I think people go to see them because they know the cherry blossoms will end.

ぼくはいつも春になると桜がいつ咲くか調べます。

I always check when the cherry blossoms will bloom when spring comes.

そしてすぐ桜を見に行きます。

And then I go to see the cherry blossoms immediately.

友達と見に行ったり、家族と見に行ったりして、桜を楽しむんですね。

I enjoy the cherry blossoms by going to see them with friends or family.

桜の季節が短いことをわかっています。

I know that the cherry blossom season is short.

だから毎年桜を見に行くんです。

That is why I go to see the cherry blossoms every year.

他にも日本には出会いと別れっていう言葉があります。

In addition, there is a phrase in Japan: "encounters and partings."

出会いは新しい人と会うこと。

An encounter is meeting a new person.

別れは人がはなれること、人がさようならを言うことですね。

A parting is when people separate or say goodbye.

この出会いと別れも似ていると思います。

I think these encounters and partings are similar.

新しい人と会うことはあります。

There are times when we meet new people.

そして人と人と別れることもあります。

And there are also times when people part from each other.

だから今一緒にいる人を大切にしようって思います。

That is why I feel I should cherish the people I am with now.

だから日本は始まりがあります。

Therefore, in Japan, there are beginnings.

スタートがあります。

There are starts.

でも終わりもあります。

But there are also ends.

これがよくわかっているんですね。

This is well understood.

他にもいただきますやごちそうさまのあいさつも同じです。

The greetings "itadakimasu" and "gochisousama" are the same.

日本は食べるときいただきますって言います。

In Japan, we say "itadakimasu" when we eat.

食べ終わるときごちそうさまって言います。

We say "gochisousama" when we finish eating.

これも食事を始めるときと終わるときの2つがあります。

This also consists of two parts: when starting a meal and when finishing it.

これはなんか日本っぽい文化ですね。

This is a very Japanese-like culture.

終わりがいつも表にあるんです。

The end is always present.

だからいいんですよね。

That is why it is good.

桜が今たくさんちっています。

Many cherry blossoms are falling now.

なんか悲しい気持ちだけど、また来年も桜を見たいっていう気持ちになります。

It feels a bit sad, but it makes me feel like I want to see the cherry blossoms again next year.

僕はジブリが大好きです。

I love Ghibli.

Does everyone like Ghibli?

僕はジブリのアニメを子供の時から見ていました。

I have been watching Ghibli anime since I was a child.

本当にグラフィックが綺麗でストーリーもとても面白くていいアニメだと思っています。

I think they are great anime with truly beautiful graphics and very interesting stories.

いろいろなジブリアニメがありますよね。

There are various Ghibli anime, aren't there?

例えば、千と千尋とかラピュタとかハウルの動く城とかもののけ姫とかです。

For example, Spirited Away, Laputa, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, and so on.

日本の人はジブリアニメを短く言います。

Japanese people say Ghibli anime titles shortly.

例えば千と千尋の神隠しは千と千尋。

For example, "Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi" is "Sen to Chihiro".

ハウルの動く城はハウルみたいな感じです。

"Howl's Moving Castle" is like "Howl".

短く言うんですね。

They say them shortly, right?

いろいろなジブリアニメがあるけど、僕が一番好きなジブリアニメはラピュタです。

I watched it many times.

子供の時はラピュタを見るとワクワクしました。

When I was a child, I felt excited whenever I watched Laputa.

なんかとても楽しい感じでした。

It felt somehow very fun.

空の上から女の子が来て、そして男の子と一緒に旅をするこのストーリーがとてもワクワクしたんですね。

A girl comes from the sky, and then she travels with a boy—this story was very exciting.

そしてラピュタはいろいろな飛行機が出てきます。

And many airplanes appear in Laputa.

この飛行機のデザインとかグラフィックがめちゃくちゃユニークで面白いと思ったんです。

I thought the design and graphics of these airplanes were incredibly unique and interesting.

特に小さい飛行機が出てきます。

In particular, small airplanes appear.

みんなわかりますかなんか盗賊のグループが乗っている小さい飛行機です。

Does everyone know? It's the small airplane that the group of bandits rides.

なんかこの飛行機がめちゃくちゃかっこいいですよね。

Somehow, this airplane is incredibly cool, isn't it?

僕は子供の時この飛行機に乗りたいって思いました。

When I was a child, I thought I wanted to ride this airplane.

だからこのいろいろな飛行機があって、そのデザインが本当に面白いなって思ったんです。

That's why I thought it was truly interesting that there are various airplanes and their designs.

子供の頃から好きでした。

I've liked it since I was a child.

だから今も好きなんです。

That's why I still like it now.

僕はアクションとかファンタジーとかＳＦのドラマや映画が好きです。

I like action, fantasy, and SF dramas and movies.

とてもワクワクしますよね。

It's very exciting, isn't it?

ラピュタはとてもワクワクするアニメだと思います。

I think Laputa is a very exciting anime.

そして僕が一番好きなシーンは男の子のパズーが目玉焼きを食べるシーンです。

And my favorite scene is the one where the boy Pazu eats a fried egg.

ジブリアニメの食べ物ってめちゃくちゃ美味しそうですよね。

The food in Ghibli anime looks incredibly delicious, doesn't it?

パズーが食べている卵が本当に美味しそうだと思いました。

I thought the egg Pazu is eating looked truly delicious.

ベーコンも一緒に食べているんですけど、そのベーコンも本当に美味しそうで、なんかお腹がペコペコになる感じですね。

He's also eating bacon with it, and that bacon also looks truly delicious, making me feel hungry.

だからストーリーも好きだし、グラフィックも好きだし、特に食べ物を食べているところがめちゃくちゃ美味しそうだなって思いました。

So I like the story, I like the graphics, and I especially thought the part where they are eating food looks incredibly delicious.

日本語の勉強ってむずかしいですよね。

Studying Japanese is difficult, isn't it?

そして一人で勉強している時はつまらないし、ちょっとさみしいですよね。

And when you study alone, it's boring and a bit lonely, right?

でもいっしょに勉強している人、コミュニティがあったら勉強をもっとがんばれると思うんですね。

But I think if there are people studying together and a community, you can work harder on your studies.

ぼくは 1たい1で日本語を教えています。

I teach Japanese one-on-one.

でも時々たくさんの人と勉強したり、話したりするのがいいと思うんです。

But I think sometimes it's good to study or talk with many people.

たとえば、ぼくと生徒さん 2人でレッスンをしています。

For example, I have lessons with two students.

ぼくの生徒さんはいつもぼくに話します。

My students always talk to me.

いつも同じです。

It's always the same.

これって本当の会話じゃないと思うんです。

I don't think this is real conversation.

本当の会話はいろいろな人といろいろなトピックを話します。

Real conversation involves talking with various people about various topics.

そして自分のことを話します。

And talking about yourself.

このいろいろな人と話すことが大切だと思うんです。

I think talking with these various people is important.

だからぼくたちのレッスンはたくさん話します。

That's why we talk a lot in our lessons.

文法の勉強とか JLPTの勉強はしません。

We don't do grammar study or JLPT study.

文法の勉強はレッスンの前にコミュニティの人とします。

Grammar study is done with people in the community before the lesson.

そして自分で勉強します。

And you study by yourself.

レッスンの時はそれを話します。

During the lesson, we talk about that.

勉強したことをたくさん話すんです。

We talk a lot about what we studied.

ぼくたちのコミュニティは日本の人とつながることができる。

Our community allows you to connect with Japanese people.

そしていろいろな人とつながることができるっていうコミュニティを作ろうと思っています。

And I am planning to create a community where you can connect with various people.

今いろいろなことをじゅんびしなくちゃいけません。

I have to prepare various things now.

プラットフォームとかコンテンツとかテストのレッスンをする人を集めたりとか、たくさん仕事があります。

There is a lot of work, like gathering people for platform, content, and test lessons.

でもとても楽しいです。
