Since August 26th 18 college football games have been cancelled or postponed.  Notre Dame @ Wake Forest postponed because 7 positive tests at Notre Dame.  I have no clue the Big Ten is getting in all their games with no wiggle room for makeup games.
How about all the NFL seasons ended this weekend.  Nick Bosa, Courtland Sutton and Saquon Barkley to torn ACL's.  Bosa's teammate Solomon Thomas also tore his ACL.
Drew Brees looking quite ordinary lately.  Maybe give Jameis Winston a chance?  
And love that Air Force is honoring the Tuskegee Airmen with their uniforms when they host Navy on October 3rd.

Scary injury day for NFL players in Week 2.  I hope that Saquon Barkley and Nick Bosa don't have torn ACL's.  But it doesn't look good.
Jordan Jenkins said it all about the 0-2 start by the Jets.  "We haven't shown progress. It's been rinse and repeat the last two games."
How does an NFL player not know what to do on an onside kick.  The Falcons up 39-24 with 8 minutes left, loses 40-39 to Cowboys after being up 29-10 at the half.  Dan Quinn get that resume updated.

Check out Aiden Smith.  6 years old playing football at 5'1"-130 pounds.  Unbelievable.  I don't know how they tackle him.  You have to see his stiff arm of the defender.  Wow.  
Props to Navy after getting blown out by BYU 55-3 they came back from a 24-0 halftime deficit @ Tulane and won 27-24.  Biggest comeback in program history.
Lakers won game one and can't take credit for this one but it made me crack up.  The Nuggets won't start playing til they're down 3-1.  Not sure if it will work this time.

Lebron cares more about championships then MVP trophies.  Tonight Lakers take on the underdog Nuggets.  I just can't see the Nuggets beating them.  Lakers in 5.
How cool is this! For the first time in the Stanley Cup finals history a coach, Jon Cooper of the Tampa Bay Lightning will go against a former assistant, Rick Bowness of the Dallas Stars. Lightning in 6 games.
Yankees on a eight game win streak.  19 HR's in 3 game sweep of Blue Jays which is a MLB record which included last night 5 HR's in an inning for the first time in franchise history.

Joe Burrow was asked if he was excited for his first prime-time debut tonight vs Browns.  Said he thinks the best QB's treat every game the same.  Awesome.
Roy Holmes II on the 40 hamstring injuries through Week 1 of the NFL season.  Fancy footwork and sexy IG posts don't get your ready for the season, Holmes said.  I tend to agree.
ESPN can you explain why you need Kirk Herbstreit and Rece Davis from their respective homes talking about MNF game this week between the Saints @ Raiders?  Will it add to the broadcast?  Why not give Steve Levy, Louis Riddick and Brian Griese a chance to gel.  Idiotic in my opinion.

Clippers could taste the Western Conference Finals.  Now 0-8 in games to advance to the Conference Finals.  Kawhi and PG are leaving the bubble.
Big Ten Football is back.  8 games plus crossover games matching the 2 vs 2 in the East and West DIvisions, 3 vs 3 and so on.  Top two play in Championship game on December 19th.  Someone suggested all 7 games be made into a 24 hour championship Saturday.  24 hours straight of football.  That would be heaven.  
Adam Gase great coach.  Said if 5 of first 14 plays had been executed correctly would have been game changers for the Jets on Sunday vs Bills. You had months to gameplan for the Bills and you're blaming it on execution?  Why they are the worst franchise in the NFL.  I know people will say the Washington Football team but I disagree.  And when your team gets outscored by the Yanks this week you really suck.

Yankee fans Giancarlo Stanton is back tonight and Aaron Judge is soon to follow.  Will they be around the rest of the season healthy.  No one knows.
Stephen Gostkowski had a rough night for the Titans last night.  3 missed FG's.  One of them was blocked.  Also a missed extra point.  But he did make the game winner though if he made one of the earlier misses.  Well they won the game.  Right?  Vic Fangio too bad you can't carry those timeouts over to the next game.
Jets starting RB this week is Frank Gore Sr.  Le'veon Bell is out for at least three weeks.  Denzel Mims the rookie WR is too.  Sam Darnold said he needs to work on his footwork.  Jets suck.

DeAndre Swift we learn from our mistakes.  Tough loss for the Lions but how about Mitch Trubisky with three fourth quarter TD's in Bears win?  NOICE.
Jets game was over in the first quarter and to top it off Le'veon Bell went out with an injured hamstring.  Next week the pissed off Niners come to town.
DeAndre Hopkins had a career high 14 receptions today in the Cards win over the Niners.  Joe Burrow lost for the first time in over a year when Randy Bullock missed a 31 yard FG. He had made 24 in a row inside 40 yards.  Rough loss.

Naomi Osaka now is 3-0 in Majors after winning the US Open in three sets today over Vika Azarenka.  
Sun Belt Conference Football had a great day today.  Ragin Cajuns won in Ames over Iowa State 31-14 and Arkansas State won 35-31 over Kansas State in Manhattan, Kansas.  
So Dana White will book Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar if they agree to fighting each other.  Jon Jones showed off new physique. Am I missing something?
NFL tomorrow.  It's all about the Redzone for me.
