  • Isis
Well chosen electro and percussion sounds introduce Isis on a moderate tempo, a slightly funky bass completes this introduction. A delicately resonant synthesizer brings softness and lightness, accompanied here and there by the riffs of a slightly saturated but equally airy guitar. The guitar asserts itself for a short time to better restore its place to the horn. The subtle dialog synthesizer guitar leads us serenely, the charm of Isis acts until the final slowdown.

  • Osiris
On a moderate tempo, Osiris starts energetically with electro sounds of Jean Toba’s drum machine, very quickly supported by a tonic bass, the rhythm sets up. A "wahwahtized" synthesizer installs the melody of Osiris' theme, aided by the addition of well-chosen percussions. After a few minutes, the foreground timbre is removed for a few measures by another synthesizer timbre, more withdrawn but more ethereal. Halfway, a percussion break stops the theme to get it started again better. It is almost this same break that will finish the work.

  • The Velvet Under My Sound
Here is an urban ballad concocted by Jean Toba, particularly original, with vibraphone and accordion into it, on a solid rock background with nervous bass, rocky guitar riffs and ad hoc beat.

  • L'HOMME CHEVREUIL
The work begins energetically with powerful timpani, on which come thunderous horns. A choir adds a deep, aerial touch, and finally a cello illuminates the whole. Ending this intense opening, a solitary but relaxing crystal bell announces a striking, massive and very "horned" finish.

    Rhythmic by a slight backwash,
Meditation, sitting at the edge of the beach.
Then, silent resumption of the ballad,
Step by step, feline on the pebbles, return to land...
Not fast enough to be assimilated to DISCO but sunny enough to make you dream of a sweet and warm evening in a land of plenty; that's Allegory!
A " bolerized " allegory * for some, seductive and feline for others, and for you ?
    * in connection with the famous Ravel's bolero

"Au début la fin" (means at the beginning the end... of Thé au Reggae).
It was while completing his "Thé au Reggae" that Jean Toba found the inspiration of "Au début la fin". "Au début la fin" begins with the last piano chords of the title "Thé au Reggae".
From there, Jean Toba creates a new, totally original musical theme.Tinted with Electro Jazz with Toba sauce, "Au début la fin" is a piece from which it emanates a quiet strength and serenity. Here and there, surprising paper crumples punctuate the original work until the final sound.

The musical tea starts with a well felt bass, guitar riffs well plated, all accompanied slightly by a female chorus. Here and there, wah-wah and other effects contrast to better highlight the typical rhythmic. A saxophone illuminates with its jazzy presence the Caribbean swing. Later, a piano comes energetically into the " reggaetizing " theme to finally finish smoothly this musical tasting.

Energetically, it starts with the Arletty's words *, surreal reference to better confuse the issue but while remaining in the suggestion of a percussive atmosphere with seagulls that take you to the melodic and festive beach of a Balkan electronics completely Tobaesque. Synthetic Percussion, Big sounds and airy delicacy make this original resort look like a little vacation.
Have a good time and enjoy it !

  • Kick ballade
Once the door is crossed, Jean Toba proposes some powerful steps to warm you up. The ballade begins with a firm beat impulsed by the voices of a female choir combined to the rhythm of a piano assisted by a guitar with air riffs for more lightness. The tone is jolly, the gait is happy, before a phase slightly more marked by the meditation until the moment when the rhythm accelerates under the effect of an imaginary slope lavished by a vibraphone. At the bottom of the slope, the breath catched, the ballad ends.

  • DANDY The Death
Jean Toba wished to compose a music with the cry of a nascent child and, on the contrary, a cry of agony from a dying person, just to illustrate a musical life cycle. It is with the strong way inspired by a Stravinsky combined with his very personal humor that he invites you to listen to the setting in music of all these cries. Jean Toba also offers a nod to the sixties with a harpsichord of the best psychedelic time and then the best of the best, he wants to talk about a nod to the most talented of dandys of RnB, soul and funk joined together. Jean Toba wants to do a tribute here to Mister Prince ... of Minneapolis, dandy died too early.
