Jim Harold's Campfire

It started with a creaky floorboard in an otherwise ordinary house. At first it seems like the kind of thing you would expect in a place built decades ago. But over time, the little things start to add up. Keys disappear and are never found again. A recliner moves as if someone has just gotten out of it. One early morning, a dark figure appears partially hidden in a hallway doorway. And just before the family moves out, the witness hears what sounds like two young girls having a conversation in an empty part of the house. What begins as a few odd moments slowly becomes something much harder to explain.

In this episode of Jim Harold’s Campfire, listeners share a variety of experiences that range from unsettling to deeply meaningful. One caller recounts a vivid dream that feels like a genuine visit from a beloved grandmother who passed years earlier. Another family deals with strange happenings in their kitchen where everyday items seem to vanish, reappear, or move when no one is around. As always, these real-life stories from listeners remind us that the unexplained often shows up quietly, in the middle of ordinary life. Stay spooky.

A haunted penthouse kicks things off, complete with strange visuals, unsettling sounds, and that creeping sense that something unseen has taken an interest. From there, we hear about a childhood encounter with what looked exactly like a parent but wasn't and a vivid dream that lined up perfectly with a family emergency miles away. These are the kinds of stories that do not just give you chills, they make you stop and think.

Along the way, listeners share eerie apartment activity, a curious moment in a cemetery, an intense experience abroad, an unexplained disturbance connected to a famous rock band, and a touching sign from a beloved pet. Some of these stories are spooky, some are emotional, and all of them carry that classic Campfire mix of mystery, heart, and big question marks that linger long after the episode ends.

Love stories with a strange twist. In this Valentine’s edition of Campfire, our experiencers share moments where relationships seemed guided by more than timing or luck. A prediction that didn’t make sense until years later, a dream that mirrored reality a little too perfectly, and encounters that kept happening in ways that felt...arranged by someone or something.

A family gathers after a funeral and a child reacts to someone no one else can see. A frequent flyer keeps running into bizarre strangers who seem to know him across different places and years. A quiet house carries a lullaby in the dark, and it may not be meant for the living. Familiar moments slowly shift into something off balance as comfort and unease sit side by side.

You will also hear about a call that arrives long after someone is gone, warnings that come as a simple feeling not to go, and a childhood sighting in the sky that never found an explanation. Some encounters feel protective, others deeply unsettling, but all leave lingering questions about what lies beyond the Campfire.

A man looks back on a childhood encounter with a family he still can’t make sense of, a moment so strange it’s followed him for decades. Another story takes us into a quiet house where a girl suddenly realizes she’s standing right next to a shadowy figure that shouldn’t be there.

Elsewhere, the lines blur in more subtle ways. A mother describes an eerie moment where a dream seems to be shared with her young son, leaving her questioning whether they were really asleep at all.

You’ll hear stories that feel uncomfortably real and will keep you thinking after the Campfire is out.
