Some of the strangest experiences don’t come with clear answers… just lingering questions that refuse to go away. In this episode, we hear a truly baffling story of a young child who, in the middle of an ordinary family trip, begins speaking in a way that feels completely out of place, almost as if someone—or something else—has stepped in. It’s the kind of moment that leaves everyone present stunned, searching for logic, and coming up empty.

From there, the episode unfolds with stories that explore unseen forces, eerie encounters, and moments where reality itself seems to bend just enough to make you wonder what’s really going on beneath the surface. Whether it’s a sudden, overwhelming presence in a place that should feel safe, or a series of events that line up a little too perfectly, these stories carry that unmistakable Campfire feeling: unsettling, mysterious, and impossible to fully explain… but very real to the people who lived them.

A child’s simple, matter-of-fact description hints at a connection to the other side.

From there, the Campfire takes a darker turn with a chilling retelling of a childhood encounter that raises an unsettling question: what if monsters aren’t just stories?

Along the way, this episode also explores an old funeral tradition not observed with possibly eerie consequences, a surreal travel experience that feels like stepping into the wrong reality, a shadowy presence tied to a dorm room, and a strange scenario in a Venetian apartment . It all adds up to a Campfire packed with high strangeness, where the ordinary world keeps slipping just enough to make you wonder what’s really out there.

We kick things off with a story that blurs the line between harmless mischief and something more mysterious, as everyday objects refuse to stay put and a simple holiday preparation takes an unforgettable turn. When a young child casually offers an explanation that no one saw coming, it adds an extra layer of chills to an already uncanny situation. It’s one of those stories that makes you wonder who, or what, might be sharing your space when you’re not looking.

From there, the episode dives into deeply personal encounters that touch on life, loss, and what may lie just beyond our understanding, alongside eerie investigations in a place where daytime charm gives way to nighttime intensity. You’ll hear moments that feel comforting, others that feel downright unsettling, and a few that sit squarely in between. Whether it’s fleeting figures, voices in empty rooms, or experiences that defy easy explanation, these stories linger long after they’re told and might just have you listening a little more closely to the quiet around you.

A trip to a haunted Gettysburg inn takes a turn when a skeptic has an experience he can’t easily brush off. From there, we hear about a strange sight in the sky that resurfaces decades later in an unexpected way, and a moment where reality itself seems to glitch.

The episode is chock full of stories about dreams, signs, and connections that feel too meaningful to ignore. Some are comforting, some raise more questions than answers, but all of them have that unmistakable Campfire feel where everyday people find themselves face to face with something they can’t quite explain.

An old family home becomes the center of a chilling mystery when multiple people see the exact same shadowy figure moving around. Perhaps a dark chapter in the house's history holds the key to understanding it.

Plus, we share a collection of strange moments including a Ouija board session that yields very precise answers, a ghost tour on a historic aircraft carrier that truly delivers, and a bizarre encounter with a classic car. This episode of Campfire reminds us that the unexplained can show up when we least expect it.
