Spurned by Fear

those bullies with their cold bullets

promise to blockade our ol’ hearts,

never mind your Texas-sized attitudes,

these bruts have their roots in rudeness

they’re looking for the whites of your eyes, before you even realize they got a surprise

just like a bold hunter, waiting for deer,

but these are cowards, spurned by fear
