Every generation has its own idiosyncrasies they introduce into raising a child.  The previous generation's was diagnosing everyone with ADHD and creating a labyrinth of medications and other treatments, many of which did more harm than good.  Right now we're looking at home schooling, online school, hybrid school, etc.  Depending on how it all works out, we might be looking at permanently lowering the amount of time kids spend physically at a school.  It's certainly a contentious issue.  What better time for the return of Supernanny, which started last week on Lifetime?
