In Ecclesiastes 11:3 it reads, "If a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie." The direct meaning has to do with the end of a person's life. Basically, in whatever state the person is in when the die will determine their spiritual eternal destiny. It is serious as well as a warning.
Recently we were visiting the beautiful cemetery where my mother will one day be buried. It is high on a hill that overlooks the vast Pacific Ocean. I walked around looking at all the grave markers reading about many lives of men, women and young people. Many had statements of faith, others had words describing simple lives and accomplishments.
What we tend to all forget is that our lives are in the making and forming by Christ. We get so caught up with all the mistakes, falls and minute slip-ups. But Jesus does not. He is preparing us for another Land to go to. What a person says at the very end of their lives is the stamp of what they are all about, what and Who they stood for. It is not the beginning or the middle, it is the end that speaks.
In fact the last words of a person before they die are the ones that everyone will remember more than all the other words spoken in their lifetime. This life is a journey Home. The way is rugged, full of risks. It is always a climbing up. But in the climbing up, power enters in, victories are realized, timeless landmarks are made. The finished work is the final testimony of the believer that seals their earthly walk, their eternal destiny and their glorious entrance into the Heavenly Kingdom.
"In heaven we shall appear, not in armour, but in robes of glory. But here these are to be worn night and day; we must walk, work, and sleep in them, or else we are not true soldiers of Christ." ~William Gurnall

When Jesus was alive on earth everything He did and said went against the course and grain of this world. He came from the highest of heavens to the lowliest of people. His Gospel message was hard for the self-exalted religious sector. They remained spiritually blind, deaf, dumb, lame and maimed. His words were not able to be grasped by those who sat in high places in the temple. Yet, "the common people heard Him gladly."
In this world Jesus taught us that the lowest places are the highest spiritual places in Him and His Father. And that the highest places of this world were only Satan's high places that come with a terrible price to pay. Jesus is always calling us to go up higher, but the way there is in the lowest rooms. And in the lowest places we look up to the Most High God who sits in the heights of the Heavenly Mount Zion on His throne in the sides of the north. From the highest of the high He rules in the lowest of the low.
"Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off." It is very clear. Jesus will not regard a person that is proud and only sees them far away from Him. He has no respect for them. The lowly receive His pure loving grace, and wisdom is with them. The humble in spirit dwell with the lowly and divide the glorious spoil.
The lowly are followers of Jesus Christ who deeply love Him. They learn of Him that He is meek and lowly in heart. They become like Him in heart by His Holy Spirit. They take on His life. That is where the beautiful lowly people find rest in their hearts in Jesus Christ and are comforted. "The last shall be first."

Fear is the greatest weapon Satan has exercised on mankind. Because initially fear stuns and paralyzes. It grips the soul, then the entire person pretty quickly. Satan is a spirit of fear that has torment.
Fear casts down people to his feet where he beats them down and binds them with his chains of darkness. Then he malevolently rules over them. There were times in my life that I was so gripped with fear for years. I had many things coming against me from all sides. I felt as if I was living in a tornado and had no power. But there was a power that arose up within me to fight. And that power was of the Holy Spirit. And through every fight and war, it shaped me. Rather He reshaped me.
In that suffering, I knew I had to stand up and fight, though I was at my weakest. But I waxed strong in the fight over time, and grew up in wars that always brought me out into greater victories. The study of fear is a deep one, but in this episode I allowed what was in my heart come forth. I hand it off to you now as a gift of love. It is my hope that you that are afraid will no longer be. And that flood of freedom from the Holy Spirit will drive that spirit of fear out of you for good. That you will stand tall in the victory of Jesus Christ won on the cross just for you.
These are good and faithful words of the Lord: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 40:10.
“Have you been asking God what He is going to do? He will never tell you. God does not tell you what He is going to do; He reveals to you Who He is.”

Prayer is what I call a "vast economy." There is no end of learning, growing, stretching and deepening in a life of prayer. After all, as we grow, so must our prayer life grow along with it. Where there is no prayer in a persons life, that would indicated a spiritually dead internal environment. Those that pray are alive in the Lord.
There are so many different kinds of prayer, and there must be. There are so many kinds of seasons, issues and things. However, there are times when we are told some very terrible news and asked to pray. And instead of going straight into it, we feel paralyzed. The thing is too great and there is a stark emptiness of any kind power to pray. We try to pray right away but words stop in our mouth, and the words that did escape feel flat and empty. God does not expect us to instantly fall down and pray something that we cannot touch with our heart.
Listen as I lay out for you Biblical examples of what to do when this happens. When the hard prayers must be prayed. Do not be so hard on yourselves. Jesus even said, "the Spirit is always willing but the flesh is weak." You cannot lift what is too heavy for you. Only the Holy Spirit has power to do it. Give yourself room to sit down, cry if you have to. Mourn, and if need be, fast for certain days, then rise up to pray when you KNOW the power has been given to you. Like David said in Psalm 62:11, "God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God."
"Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time.” ― Oswald Chambers

Those who went to the tomb where Jesus lay saw "the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself." (John 20:7). From that time many have tried to guess what that meant. Why would Jesus do that? Why would Jesus take the time after His resurrection before He left the tomb, to meticulously fold the napkin. Then set it aside by itself?
Many say it was to show that His body was not robbed from the grave. For what robber would take the time to fold a face napkin? Others say, "to show He was in no hurry." Some say that it has to do with a Jewish custom. When the master of a house sat at his table to eat. If he had to get up from the table for some reason, would take the napkin and fold it and lay it on the table. Which would mean he would return to the table.
However, there is nothing about this alleged Jewish custom of the folded napkins. It is nothing but a rumor. The truth is that table napkins, such as we use today, were not used in Jesus’ day. Jews would do an after-meal hand washing as part of the eating ritual. That was a European custom. Washing of the hands before a meal was mandatory according to rabbinic injunction, but after washing their hands, did people dry them with a cloth? Apparently, there is no early rabbinic source that discusses how the hands were dried after washing them.
Besides, all of this has only to do with eating at a table, and not death. I saw today in two verses in the old and new testaments that say the "heavens and the earth will wax old like a garment." The Old Testament says, they shall be changed. The New Testament says, "like a vesture they shall be folded up." Listen as I show the strong possibility that the folded napkin was not about any of the above conjectures, but a very real sign that curse of death was folded up, passed away and abolished.
Soon one day, the words of 2 Peter 3:13 will be realized. "But we according to His promise do look for a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness."
"And they shall see His face and His name shall be in His forehead." ~Revelation 22:4 - The Letter of Jesus Christ

Every now and then most believers come under attack by the enemy in various ways. One of the most efficient methods is to assault the mind with the worst memories. It starts out here and there, but it is generally passed off as nothing. Sometimes it is not the enemy, it is just ourselves, our minds bring things to the surface. There is a difference.
What is of ourselves we have the power to put down. But of the enemy, there is a power that comes with it, it comes over us. Then the enemy begins to intensify the worst memories, ones that make people cringe with deep shame and guilt. Many believers become aware that it must be the enemy. They begin to pray against this attack, but for some reason they increase no matter how much they plead with God to make it stop. After a few days, all they are thinking about is every awful things done in their past.
They become cast down, they start thinking the worst about themselves. They become quickly, spiritually weakened and defeated. They become controlled by the enemy. They pray and pray still but it continues. They long for peace. Satan attacked Job ruthlessly, and even came to him at night with questions mocking and accusing him. We do not see that Job said anything to him. There was only silence.
When I read the questions Satan asked God, and then asked Job, a flood of countermanding scriptures filled my mind. Every question was met with verses like a razor sharp, double-edged sword. You see, this happened to me for two whole weeks and I could not get free. Until one morning the power of the Holy Spirit rushed in with force, and I opened my mouth and out came every verse to counter the attack on my mind. I thanked God in the enemy's presence for the Blood of Jesus Christ Who set me free long ago from Satan's power over me. That morning the enemy fled from me, rather from HIM in me.
Within three seconds the enemy fled. That is why we are to read the word, and be filled to the overflow of the Holy Spirit. The "greater is He that is in you than he (the enemy) that is in the world" is He that fights the enemy and puts him to a perpetual shamed out reproach.

This morning I was reading about Joseph, Jesus earthly father. He had just found out that Mary was with child. The narrative of it gives imagery. I can picture Joseph alone and deeply hurt. All of his joy turned into darkness. He had to think about what he was going to do, mostly to protect her. As he thought about these things he fell asleep and the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in dream. He told Joseph that "he" was to call his name JESUS, and that "THEY" shall call Him Immanuel.
No, Joseph did not name Jesus “Immanuel,” but Jesus’ nature makes Him truly Immanuel, “God with us.” Isaiah told us to watch for Immanuel, the virgin-born Son of God. He will save us; He will reconcile people to God and restore creation to its original beauty. We know Him as Jesus, but we can also call Him “God with us,” because that’s exactly who He is and always will be now and in heaven. Immanuel's heaven-land. "God with us." Jesus, as our Immanuel, is omnipotent, omniscient, perfection, and the Love that never fails—"with us."
When Jesus establishes His Millennial Kingdom, prophetically it will then be termed as spoken in Ezekiel 48:35..." and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE.” This will be on earth during the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The spiritual "Immanuel's Land" of Zion is hastening. My heart is comforted in deep restful peace no earthly power can give, and it is real. It is so real. God with me, God with you, God with us forevermore. We shall go in and "everlasting joy will crown our heads."
"To the glory of His name let me witness that in far away lands, in loneliness (deepest sometimes when it seems least so), in times of downheartedness and tiredness and sadness, always always He is near. He does comfort, if we let Him. Perhaps someone as weak and good-for-nothing as even I am may read this. Don't be afraid! Through all circumstances, outside, inside, He can keep me close.” ― Amy Carmichael

Have you found yourself lately getting beat up by this world? Things are getting much harder. Even of late trying to pray and read your Bible is too hard because you are exhausted. Yet you want the Lord so deeply. You feel that you are not measuring up to the standards and measurements of prayer and reading the word perhaps like others.
It all seems to be slipping away out of your life like watching the land getting smaller and smaller as you drift away. You remember the days you once enjoyed the time you could spend. The attempts you have made to return have been futile because you think that if you read and study more, there will be results. Unfortunately it only creates a greater tiredness.
Jesus never expects anyone to have a rod upon their back to do more. God does not come with a rod, He comes with love. He comes to a surrendered life. He makes you rest from your own labors. You are not a slave, you are a child of the Father's House. He gives strength to the weary. He soothes the lives of people and gives them hope. The Holy Spirit is His life IN you. He wants you to stop trying so hard to read and pray and live up to something He never expected.
And when you do sit down to read and pray, do so in confidence, peace and joy. Trust in what He can do and will do. Let Him take care of you. Let go. What He has began in you He will finish and guarantee the final victory. Then when your life is prepared for it, He will take you to The City of Heaven..."where the streets thereof are paved with gold."
"So wait before the Lord; Wait in the stillness. And in that stillness, assurance will come to you. You will know that you are heard; you will know that your Lord ponders the voice of your humble desires; you will hear quiet words spoken to you yourself, perhaps to your grateful surprise and refreshment. -Amy Carmichael

Never has there been in church history the amount of people teaching the word of God. There are those who are barely saved and already trying to teach the higher doctrines. There are others who do not teach the word on sound biblical doctrine. They will use a scripture and create another doctrine based on "what God told them." They do much damage to others and to themselves and hinder the work of the Holy Spirit. Others teach nothing but crazy prophecy connected with solid truths that have nothing to do with prophecy.
Actually the list is endless of the multitudes that have no business teaching the word. Though I will say that it is okay to do so in the degree of ones own learning as long as the Holy Spirit gives them permission.
This message I give is a strong word of exhortation. It is meant for those who might be feeling the serious call to teaching God's word. It is also meant for the young who are teaching and should not be. Hopefully to reroute them back to the classroom of the Holy Spirit to remain until the crystal clear cut call. The Holy Spirit IS the Teacher and He alone is the One who MUST give a person the permission to teach, not ourselves.
He is the Witness Bearer of Jesus Christ. He will not bear witness to anything we try to frame up on ourselves. He will not have anything to do with it. He is not desperate. He is not in need of anyone or anything. If you feel that you are truly being called to teach or really any call of God, then hopefully these few words I speak will be witnessed by the Holy Spirit to your heart.
That Jesus Voice will be heard speaking above the "many voices of this world." That whatever you are called to do will be empowered ONLY by the Holy Spirit to the glory of Jesus name. And they will hear HIS voice and the sound of it and rejoice.
"Trying to do the Lord's work in your own strength, is the most confusing, exhausting, and tedious of all work. But when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, then the ministry of Jesus just flows out of you." ~Corrie Ten Boom

**WATCH MARTY BREEDEN'S POWERFUL TESTIMONY: "Deputy Marty Breeden- Amazing NDE & Vision- Jesus Urgent Warning -Time Is Short!" https://youtu.be/I0ML87ct4GE
A couple of days ago a good friend of mine Marty Breeden contacted me. He wanted to share a dream he had. The dream was clear to me in the meaning of it. He saw himself as a young 19 year old man stocking shelves at a little grocery store he used to work at. Suddenly he realized he had not stocked his shelves for years. However, much to his surprise, the shelves were completely full and all items were fronted. He stood there amazed.....
Marty said, "I remember before I went to bed last evening about everything that is going on in my life, I am not ministering much except only on Face Book and Telegram, and I'm like "God is my life just been a complete waste of time? Have I really ever done anything for you? And I was asking the Lord to show me...and I think that is what the dream is."
He went on to say that "many people who love the Lord have a tendency to think about all the times that they missed it, or blew it here, fouled up there. Saying further that those are serious things and we lament over it. And we also forget that God also keeps track of what we have done in His name. When we have walked in obedience. We seem to forget those things. We are hard on ourselves sometimes aren't we?
But the Lord doesn't forget what we've done in His name, and I think that was really clear this morning." If you feel that you have been set aside and wonder whether or not you ever did God any good, think again. What God showed Marty were shelves that represented his entire life service to God, those shelves represented his "work and labor of love that will not be forgotten."
They have now entered into His eternal life. I pray this episode will speak to you whoever you are and know this also directly applies to your walk, life and service to Jesus Christ as you do all in the Spirit of Love in His name.
