The time we have been given to live on this world is never easy. In fact today I was looking at Psalm 80. In The Complete Jewish Bible, it is referred to as " "Set in 'lilies" a testimony of Asaph." The Lily breaks through hard ground after rain. Psalm 80 is hard ground. It is full of the hardness of suffering with others and for others. All who have ever suffered in this world of ours understand this Psalm when they read it. They have walked on this hard ground.
But the lilies break through the hardness of that purposeless (as it may seem) pain, with a sudden up-springing of hope and joy. When we understand what it took for them to live and bloom through the hardest soils we take a rich lesson. We live in a hard place called earth. Life here is the hard ground we walk on. It is the same ground Christ walked on. Let us take heart, He has gone before us "and has set us in the way of His steps."
I was reading today about a man in the line of Shem named Hazarmaveth in Genesis 10:26. His name means "dwelling or court of death." Shem is in the lineage of Jesus Christ. History records that where Hazarmaveth settled, his name was preserved in a province until today. They are an ancient people in the modern Southern Arabian nation of Yemen.
This is what I discovered. On the scorching face of that land are towns and cities built entirely of mud bricks. It is a blistered land, naked to the sun, covered for miles with sand, broken stones, or bare rock, almost waterless, almost treeless. But one of the high roads of the Old World is the trade route from India and Persia to Egypt and Syria, and to other countries around the Mediterranean. The trade route ran through Hazarmaveth, and it supplied its own fragrant contribution to that ancient-world of commerce, a contribution not great in extent but vast in significance.
You see incense trees grew along the barren plateaus and in the dry riverbeds. Merchants came from as far as Persia to find this precious gum. It is believed the frankincense and myrrh the wise men offered to our Savior may have grown in that burning land. And also that which gave fragrance to the ointment Mary poured upon Jesus' hair and feet. As well as the spices that the women laid among the linen for His burying.
Our time here will see suffering, and we travel along the road Hazarmaveth where we gather myrrh and frankincense to offer spiritually unto God in prayer. Our prayers are perfumed with what we gather through suffering. Our offerings and gifts of love to God with thanksgiving are given with hands "dripping with myrrh" of our costly trials and pain.
I think that is why it says in Song of Solomon 3:6, " Who is this coming out of the wilderness Like pillars of smoke, Perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, With all the merchant’s fragrant powders?"
"Men will never be great in theology until they are great in suffering." ~Charles Spurgeon

Lately I have been having this very strong indescribable feeling that something is happening spiritually speaking. I am not the only one this is happening to. I have spoken to others who have said the same thing. It is a feeling of restless anticipation. A friend of mine put it this way. "It is like when you are due to have your baby but it is going past the due date. That kind of restlessness." That is exactly how it feels. There are many who are having powerful, majestic dreams of the rapture, of saints in white, singing and going up in glory.
In fact in Isaiah 26:19-20 it says, "Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. AWAKE AND SING, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast."
So we see that those who are asleep in Jesus will burst from their graves and come out singing. These are those who had victory over sin, death, hell and Satan. This fits in with 1 Thessalonians 5:13-18. Amen. The entire Bible has 185 songs, and mostly all of them have to do with conquest and victory. I fully believe that as the Bride of Jesus Christ we will sing loudly to Him in the Heavenly Mt Zion. Songs of high praise, extoling Him in lofty high places with innumerable saints and the "spirits of just men made perfect."
In fact, there is singing going on there now, and will be forever. I believe we are at the soon return of the Lord, and the time is now to come to Him. He loves you. He wants you to know there is still room, and many places at His table are awaiting you. But you must come quickly, time is running out. He wants you to be with Him and the whole family in heaven. You do not want to miss it for this world that is passing away swiftly. The door is open, heed His call today, He is waiting for you.
"Your victory will come with your song. It is a very puzzling thing to the devil to hear saints sing when he sets his foot on them. He cannot make it out: the more he oppresses them, the more they rejoice. Let us resolve to be all the merrier when the enemy dreams that we are utterly routed!” ~Charles Spurgeon

This morning in devotions I read about the transfiguration of Jesus Christ. This was a literal, historical event. One that was beyond our scope of being able to imagine what was seen. As I was reading slowly my eyes began to open to see something else. It was as if the Lord was giving us insight into prayer, in that it always involves the other world, heaven.
It says, "as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering."
Which showed me that as we pray, our countenance will also become altered too. Meaning, that the more we look to Jesus Christ in prayer, the more we come into contact with His shining glory. "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6. Something changes in us and it manifests in our countenances.
Then Peter, John and James saw Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus. Which showed me that prayer opens up heaven. We begin to start seeing things (spiritually) that only can happen through prayer. We hear what heaven is saying about Jesus, and things to come. Jesus is always the focus. Then they saw a cloud overshadow them and the voice of God speaking to them saying, "This is my beloved Son hear Him."
I see the beauty of prayer that Jesus demonstrated for us, that His Father, our Father will draw near to us and speak regarding His Son. His command is always to "hear Him." Our ears become increasingly sensitive to His voice. We enter into His cloud in prayer. The life of prayer develops us over time until we see no one else standing but Jesus Christ.
THIS is what happens in heart felt prayer to those who choose to go up into the high lofty mountain of prayer. Their whole lives will change completely. They will never descend from that mountain, they will sojourn in heavenly places by prayer. They live there very near to their Father in heaven and His Son. Live there by prayer...
"True prayer is the trading of the heart with God." ~Charles Spurgeon

It is evident that we are living in the final closing end of this church age. Every day we are watching this entire world in a serious death spiral in news articles and videos. There is so much happening all at once it is hard to keep up with it all. This nation we live in is in collapse mode. It is hard not to spend large amounts of time trying to go over everything that is happening here as well as everywhere.
Jesus said in Luke 21:26, "Men's hearts failing for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."
"Those things" that are coming are now arriving. In fact they are here and intensifying. Jesus gives us a clue in this verse. The men (mankind) of this world are looking horizontally. They are looking at the landscape of this earthly mortal world. Their hearts are failing them in fear because of what they are looking after, they are being shaken along with evidences of judgment.
But Jesus does not want you and I to be shaken. He has not made us a shakable people, but a strong, steadfast people called by His name. A people whom He loves sacrificially, and upholds them that put their trust in Him firm unto the end. This world is passing away, and all the works of it. Hold tight, we are not forsaken and tossed aside with the mixture of godless humanity.
We are here by the King's command and ordainment. That means He endeavors to take good care of you. There is something for you to do. He is coming again, and He wants you to be ready for Him. Trust in Him. A day is coming soon, a brand new day of rest, glory and the power of an endless life. Be ready, do not be shaken, rejoice for we see "That day approaching." It is marvelous in our eyes....

Have you ever been mocked for your faith? If you have then you know how disarming it is, and how it stuns you. It is one of Satan's sharpest weapons against the faithful in Christ. It is meant to shame you into retreat. It does not stop there. The enemy goes on crushing you down for days onward. Mocking is always empowered by evil spirits and sin within people.
The person who is mocked goes away wounded. It is really a thing of rejection. So it strikes at the core of the person. It is soul-wounding. It is meant to chase the believer off the battlefield and never to return. Once that believer is mocked the enemy then overtakes them further by attacking their minds.
Overwhelming them by replaying that cutting moment over again and again. Those spirits go on attacking the believer's mind telling them they blew it. That they should never try again. That they really are not valuable to the Lord. They believe those lies and retreat into the what they think are the "safe shadows."
The spirit of mocking is a demonic weapon also meant to shut up the believer. The believer feels as they are going around with a lead-weight coat of shame. They feel they have let the Lord down. This is not the case. In fact, Jesus was mocked more than anyone. Even on the His cross the mockers mocked with utmost cruelty and He took that upon Himself too for you and me. People in the first century had "trials of cruel mocking." The writer of Hebrews said, "the world was not worthy of them."
Do not fear if you are being mocked. The Light that is shining in you and out of you is upsetting the powers of darkness in the people around you. At the same time, God is "putting a difference between those who serve Him and those who do not." Stand tall, and do not fear that weapon of mockery. Be valiant and strong for the Lord. It is a sign that Christ is very much alive in you. It is really Satan mocking "Christ in you," and you are feeling it. I pray the Lord give you "hinds feet to get up upon His high places," and you stand in power and glory with Him now and in the world to come.
"When you are molested for your piety; when your religion brings the trial of cruel mockings upon you, then remember it is not your cross, It is Christ's Cross." ~Charles Spurgeon

Have you ever felt the Presence of the Lord? There have been so many times in my life where I felt His real and powerful loving Presence. Other times in great sadness, loss and despair, His Presence of great mighty peace filled the entire room and dried my tears. There have been times while driving, or washing dishes, walking my dog that His Presence has come upon me in joyful surprise.
Then of course times where His Holy Presence filled the whole room and all of us sat in stillness, silence and awe. It was impossible to utter one sound. No one dared or wanted to. There are times of prayer and waiting in quiet repose and meditation His Presence comes in and fills the room. It is so glorious, and yet so deeply humbling.
There are many of the Lord's people that spend unbusied time with Jesus every day, throughout the day and into the night. They do this in the stream of life and living. When a person lives in His Presence, making it the way of life, then the Presence of the Lord surrounds them always. And just like the "Holy Spirit like a dove" that descended from heaven and rested upon Him, will He do upon them. There are many people who live their whole lives in the Lord, only walk into a room and the whole room fills up with the Presence of the Lord. Like Amy Carmichael in her old age.
This is what was said of her: "Those who visited Amma became aware of an unseen and very loveable Presence with her, for everything around her was hallowed by prayer, not for herself but for others. God was the very atmosphere in which she lived. "We are not meant to be unaware of the Presence of One who loves us most of all, to whom all our doings matter."
Elisabeth Elliot in the last six months of her life had dementia and could no longer speak. A woman who worked with her for many decades in her ministry came over to her house for a visit with others from the ministry. When they got there, the homecare worker brought Elisabeth out in a wheelchair. According to her experience she said, "When Elisabeth was brought out, the entire living room filled up with the Presence of the Lord very powerfully. Elisabeth never uttered one word."
Here is a beautiful, timeless quote from Elisabeth Elliot about her own eighty years of life:
"It’s born out of a life consistently, faithfully given over to the will of Christ. I have one desire now: to live a life of reckless abandon for the Lord, putting all my energy and strength into it."
Praise the Lord, let this be your life in Christ, living a life of reckless abandon for the Lord, putting all your strength and energy into it, living in His Presence, dying in His Presence, then going into eternity to live forever in His glorious Presence.
“This job has been given to me to do. Therefore, it is a gift. Therefore, it is a privilege. Therefore, it is an offering I may make to God. Therefore, it is to be done gladly, if it is done for Him. Here, not somewhere else, I may learn God’s way. In this job, not in some other, God looks for faithfulness.”

Today I have the pleasure of Mena Lee Jones blessing us with a powerful message. I typically always lean in to see and hear what she shares. She has a mighty and powerful prophetic gifting which enables her to have a very sensitive, dependable ear to hear "what the Spirit says to the churches."
In light of this truly being the literal last days, she shares with us what the Lord has been showing her. Mena speaks about this being the season where there is sifting, shifting and separating. Revealing the unrecoupable lost time of multitudes of believers. Who never responded to the changing seasons in their walk. They remained in one place and never went any further.
They have spent many years of their lives never growing or ever truly knowing the Lord Jesus Christ intimately. Therefore they cannot discern His voice, they do not recognize it. They do not know what His Presence feels like. They are very sadly under developed. There is no evidence of regeneration, only outward motions of the trappings of the "Christian life."
Also Mena shares a very powerful dream of Jesus rooting up dead plants and tossing them to his left side. Which represents the side of rejection. These plants represent people who once had life in them, but grew no further due to lack of His "living water." This is very serious. Listen as Mena flows in the Spirit, and let the message she gives enter into your heart and bring life into you. Let the Lord impress upon you what He wants you to do right away and to be firm in your walk, faith and devoted love to Him. He is soon to return and He is coming for prepared people, "who love His appearing."
“God did not direct His call to Isaiah— Isaiah overheard God saying, ". . . who will go for Us?" The call of God is not just for a select few but for everyone. Whether I hear God’s call or not depends on the condition of my ears, and exactly what I hear depends upon my spiritual attitude.”

There are so many wounded lives in this world, and just as many in the body of Christ. Lives that have been misshapen by betrayals, rejection, abandonment. Beaten down with verbal abuse and lies that have caused those, who even in their late adulthood still believe those lies about themselves. Never being free, always under the power of those lies.
Rena has a mission and a message. She wants to help women find greater health--spirit, soul, and body--so they can be stronger and more confident--so they can rise above the overwhelm and silence the lies--so they can be who God created them to be. Rena sees herself as a coach--cheering women on towards a more beautiful, healthier, loving and trusting God more in this life. Rena hopes to help women become braver and stronger than they ever thought possible.
The direct source of the course she has developed came out of the fire, and through the waters and floods in her life. It is highly recommended for those also who want to learn these tools for future use. Her course is a path for all to walk through, to drink of healing waters to renew their souls. To go on in their walk towards the Heavenly Jerusalem spiritual healthy, strong and full of joy. And also meant to be a flowing river of life to pass through the lives of those who take the course, to flow down into other lives.
My hope and prayer is for all of you to take the course and be like "they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31.

In light of what is coming upon this nation and whole world, there is nothing but warnings now. Warnings that are screaming from every platform, articles, podcasts with hair raising interviews. Information that is dire and certain. I am talking about alternative excellent reporting. Those of us that are listening know that there will be a complete collapse of this nation on several economic levels. Then there is the mainstream so-called news. Which is a joke. They will not tell people the truth. They are not warning the masses but purposely covering up the truth.
As born again believers we know the prophetic clock is in it's final nano-seconds. Therefore we are trying to warn those we love, because we know the time is shorter than ever. We are trying to warn a person at work, at church, next door. Yet the reception is nothing short of eye's rolling back. Mocking, scorning and anger. The great masses believe "we will get through this." Others say, "it will be a bumpy ride but we will manage." They are in willful denial. They are in a deep sleep.
God has been warning for slightly over six thousand years. He had the Bible written so that those who read it, will understand that the God of Love is a warning God. All through the pages of the writ of canon is God warning from Genesis to Revelation. He sent Noah to warn for 100 years and 7 days, but the people refused to believe it and everything "living soul died." Same with Lot. He only had a few hours in the dark of night to warn his extended family. They did not listen, and thought he was joking. They all died along with every soul in a Sodom died in a hail of horrific fiery brimstone. The prophets were sent by God to Israel to warn them because He loved them (Still does). They did not listen. They were all taken into captivity to Assyria and Babylon.
We have been warned now for over two thousand years. And the same warnings are met the exact same way. God does not warn forever. There is coming a day that He will stop warning and lower the gavel. God wants us to warn in love, but not in anger, or impatience. Never cease to warn people. Do it bathed in much prayer behind it, in it and over it. Then let God work. If they do not believe now, they will believe later. Trust the Lord in warning, and don't be afraid of rejection and mocking. Love warns because the true nature of love does so.
“We are not made for the mountains, for sunrises, or for the other beautiful attractions in life - those are simply intended to be moments of inspiration. We are made for the valley and the ordinary things of life and that is where we have to prove our stamina and strength.”

The common "Christian" thought is that everyone has to be moving in the same agreement and unity. However, that is not the case during the current church age we are living in. It cannot be and it is not meant to be. There has to be "a difference between those who serve God and those who do not."
Paul says in 1 Corinthians 11:18, "For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you." As certain as God created the heaven and the earth. Putting a separation between the light and the darkness. Parting the sea from the land, and separating the night and the day. He does the same thing with those who claim Him as Savior and Lord.
John says in 1 John 2:18-19, "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us." There is something about a man or woman who is separated unto God. They cannot congeal with those who are not. Any time there is an attempt made to have ongoing fellowship, it is short lived. It is like sewing new cloth on an old worn out garment, there will inevitably be a tear.
Quite frankly they are unequally yoked. In the word we read, "If a man loves God the same is known of him." 1 Corinthians 8:3. Which would mean the flip side to that word would be "those who do not love God the same of known of him also." It is a sacred love of God that makes these separated children of God incapable of compromised love. They can only love Jesus Christ in purity. They are independent, and do not need to run with the crowd, neither do they want to.
They have tasted that the Lord is good and therefore will not settle for anything less. "They are in this world but not of it" and all people can tell. If there were no sovereign divisions then how is anyone going to know who is for Christ? Who is going to be able to see the man or woman who is burning hot, burning like a bright light among smoldering wicks? Separated men and women are like stars that shine in the universe as they sojourn towards heaven. Is that you? Are you separated unto God? The time is now to severe ties with this world that is passing away. To make yourself ready to be a true member of the other world that can never pass away..."world without end."
“If I am afraid to speak the truth lest I lose affection, or lest the one concerned should say, "You do not understand", or because I fear to lose my reputation for kindness; if I put my own good name before the other's highest good, then I know nothing of Calvary love.”
