Kirsten Joel have a very interesting conversation around his research around “the coaches’ journey”. First coaches learn models and tools – the next steps in their development is to be present for the client. Kirsten and Joel talk about this evolution and how coaches can develop excellence, about “deliberate practice” and how coaches can become “Yoda-coaches”. Reflective practice and self-development as they are now part of the updated core competencies are an integral part of it.
