We’re back after Labor Day weekend! Joey took yesterday off and got to experience school drop off with his kids for the first time. It was intense.  

Joey has been researching chore apps to help motivate his kids to do their chores.  

Hot Tea: Jason Ladean says he still has PTSD from the shotting at his show a few years ago. Videos were posted of people throwing objects out of a window at The White House. Officials said it was contractors doing work inside, but Trump said it was an AI video. Bill Belichick was roasted online again about his large age gap relationship with his 24-year-old girlfriend.  

Nancy called her husband, Matt, to admit that he was right about something. They went camping this weekend and Nancy was not looking forward to it. She thought she would be miserable the entire time. However, she had a blast! Matt was just happy to be right about something.  

A man was fired from his job for consistently making the “HEE HEE” Michael Jackson noise. Joey said that he could start doing that and make all of the different MJ noises.

Joey and his family went to Cades Cove and got stuck in traffic for way longer than planned. He had to use satellite texting on his phone to let his friend know that he would be very late for dinner.  

As seen on TikTok! A girl was upset to learn that the concrete mixer she won through a radio contest wasn’t heavy machinery... it was an ice cream from Culver’s.  

Nancy accidentally caught her yard on fire.

Joey repainted his living room ceiling and then hurt his back moving a cabinet. Karly’s Apple Watch almost started calling 911 when she was doing gymnastics last night.

There was major drama and a fight at Nancy’s son’s middle school football game yesterday. We don’t understand why parents get so angry at kids’ sporting events.  

Hot Tea: Zach Top said that Morgan Wallen’s music isn’t his cup of tea. Bruce Willis’ wife says that Bruce is in good health aside from his dementia and language loss. A guy wearing Batman pajamas caught an intruder.

People are constantly being scammed into thinking they are dating major celebrities online. Lainey Wilson said that people are claiming that “she” has ruined several marriages. Apparently, there are a lot of married men are “dating” her online.

Joey thought he had a genius idea to make a business that has experts on call to help with DIY home projects. Nancy and Karly had to let him know that it already exists.  Nancy isn’t sleeping well because her dog is going through a sleep regression phase, and her husband turns the tv on in the middle of the night.  
Peyton Manning has been hanging out on UT’s campus, donated some money, and went on the Mike Keith Show.  

We played Rocky Top Roulette to give away a trip to the UT vs Syracuse game over the weekend!

Hot Tea: Rumors are already flying with speculations about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. Bill Belichick’s girlfriend is trying to trademark several words and phrases such as “gold digger.” Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson’s relationship was fake!  

A guy called to tell us that he is in an online relationship with a major country star. He says they only talk via Facebook Messenger, he’s never met her, and that she asks for gift cards. We tried to tell him that he was being scammed, but he would listen to us or anyone else.

One of Nancy’s old neighbors called her crazy in a HOA complaint... not realizing that Nancy moved out two months ago.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement yesterday! Joey let Karly talk about Taylor uninterrupted for 60 seconds. We also asked people for wedding advice for the couple.  

Nancy is going to have to buy Depends for her barrel racing event next week. She practiced riding yesterday, and the horse was very “bouncy.” She experienced some leaks and is going to need to buy something to help it not show on her pants next week.

Joey hit a big piece of rubber on the interstate on the way to work. Nancy and Karly call him out for it, Nancy sings the good morning song, and Joey turns both their mics down. 

The dolphins at the Georgia Aquarium chose Tennessee to win the game against Syracuse. Nancy tried to make a reference to the Miami Dolphins that made no sense. Joey and Karly made fun of her, so she gave the silent treatment.  

Joey wanted to talk about all of the different versions of the new Taylor Swift album and Karly got defensive.  

DIY Joe painted his ceiling where the hole was and realized that he is going to have to paint the entire ceiling to make it blend in.  

Hot Tea: Cracker Barrel released a new statement after all the backlash they have been receiving. Miley Cyrus wrote a song for her dad that included two of his favorite singers. Post Malone says he only did the SKIMS underwear shoot so more ladies would text him.  

Nancy’s son Ben has decided that he wants to start going by Benjamin. We talked about nicknames and what other kids want to change their names to. We found out that Nancy tried to go by Elmo in College and that Joey’s first radio DJ name was “Bubba Smack Joey Tack.”

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back at Starbucks today! We revisited the dramatic ad our Cowboy Pal Gunner made for them a few years ago.  

A lady’s voicemail is going viral after the way she tried to phonetically spell a word. She said “p - as in pork.” Joey messes it up all the time on purpose. Joey’s wife calls and gives real examples he has used, such as “K - as in knuckle.”
