On today’s show, Seth speaks with John DeBevoise of Biz Soup Talk Radio, entrepreneur, and trademark voiceover artist. John talks about his journey from door-to-door sales, to asset management, to ultimately his talk radio show, Biz Soup, where he gives advice from professionals to other small business owners and entrepreneurs.
John DeBevoise is a lifelong entrepreneur and businessman. He started his first business at the young age of 8. Inspired by his creative parents, John went door-to-door selling Christmas decorations he made by hand during his Christmas vacations. Always the problem solver, he would either create or acquire businesses where he saw opportunity. He became an award-winning realtor running several real estate and development companies for 20 years.
Prior to BizSoup, he created the first paperless asset management company for bank-owned real estate (REO’s). “I saw opportunity in how the banks and real estate offices worked and wanted to eliminate the waste of resources and reduce the time to market for all parties!”
