Kris McCall, director of the Cernan Earth and Space Center in River Grove, joins Wendy Snyder, filling in for John Williams, to talk about the center’s origins. Gene Cernan, who flew on Gemini 9 and Apollo 10, is the center’s namesake. It’s main feature is the planetarium, but it is open to the public and hosts events. The center has Apollo 10 artifacts, fossils, and features all of the sciences.
