Over the next few weeks we are exploring decluttering Marie Kondo style. Let's start with physical and mental decluttering with my friend The Batch Lady.
The Batch Lady, Suzanne Mulholland, is a batch cooking and meal planning expert. This is an amazing episode full of hints and tips to manage busy life at home, juggling work and family. Mojo injections all round in this amazing episode with Gary Young from The Mindful Enterprise. I am just coming to the end of an 8 week Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC), led by Gary and Craig Ali based on the work of international mindfulness teacher Rob Nairn.
By adopting a mindfulness practice, those on the course are expected to enhance every aspect of their wellbeing (physical, mental and emotional health). Brain imaging studies have proven that regularly practicing mindfulness can rewire the brain to reduce reactivity & stress, as well as enhance parts of the brain linked to focus & concentration, memory, empathy and understanding, all leading to enhanced impulse control and strengthened relationships. I have loved this course and we talk very openly about some lessons from it. I hope it helps you. Jojo x #mojoinjection
This week we talk parenthood uncut. We cover pre and post natal depression, anxiety, self care, juggling life and loads more. I can't wait to bring the mojo to the Bonnie Bairn fair, Scotlands Premier Pregnancy and Family Fair, at the Corn Exchange on Sunday 10th March. Being a parent can be the hardest job in the world and support is key, as is sharing.
Need some inspiration in terms of how we can remain authentic and look after our mental health online? Look no further. Katie is our social media angel and she shares many tips from her award winning book - Social Media for a New Age. I love this episode and we even managed to sing a little via good old Zoom. Enjoy your weekly mojo injection.
It's amazing to welcome the wonderful Vanessa Kanbi - founder of the ‘Magnificent Mothers’ podcast. We talk about her modelling career of ten years in London, anxiety, juggling life and what brought her to Edinburgh and shifted her focus to become a videographer and podcaster. Vanessa also creates videos for The Social. I know this will give you a huge mojo injection.
Mental and physical health uncut - we cover limiting beliefs, tips for low self esteem and lots of other motivational chat. As always, the desire is to give you a mojo injection and of course to remember that we are all wonderfully weird x
We are back with a bang, bringing you more mojo injections after a little break. This week my guest is the wonderful Rachaele Hambleton from Part Time Working Mummy. We cover relationships, mental health, raising kids and keeping safe and happy online. This week we raise awareness of childrens mental health week and there is so much stigma to break and conversations to start.
I am sure you will find this episode super inspiring and a fun listen too. Thanks to Rachaele, what a legend!
