Well it seems it’s two steps forward three steps back for Pope Francis who rounded out 2023 approving priests to bless same sex couples, and has then kicked off the year calling for a universal ban on surrogacy having said that “the practice of so-called surrogate motherhood represents a grave violation of the dignity of the woman and the child, based on the exploitation of situations of mothers material needs.’

As you can imagine that got us pretty fired up here at JOY Breakfast, especially a specific womb-mate our very own Rach who has been very open about her surrogacy journey

Teague Leigh‘s upcoming Midsumma exhibition ‘The Reclamation of Terra’ is a multimedia, multidisciplinary series that explores the environment in a queer context.

Teague is an queer, trans, and disabled artist whose creative journey moved from travelling and performing spoken word to now telling his stories through a captivating series of landscape photographs and more. 

‘The Reclamation of Terra,’ serves as a powerful call-to-arms, blending multimedia elements to address the urgent need to reverse climate change and he joins Rach & Dean on JOY Breakfast before the exhibition opens.

Earlier this year, on World Vegan Day, Rach & Dean spoke with Zacchary Bird – vegan cookbook author, recipe developer, and social media personality.
