Procrastination even hits the best of us, right?
I don't know if I'm entirely guilty of procrastination, but I want to use a little story I have about today to reiterate some points about how "not having time" is just a BS excuse that we tell ourselves.
If you still can't get that through your head, it's probably because you are trying to keep it out.
It's. The. Truth.
If you need help understanding, try this..
1. Think of everything that you did today. Everything.
2. Ask yourself what you did today that could have been cut out, and what you could have done instead.
3. Ask yourself whether or not any of your activities could have been done in a shorter time frame.
4. If you can't think of anything for number 2 or 3, you're lying to yourself. Go back and try again.
That's what I've got for you today folks, and until tomorrow, make sure that you are keeping up with me on the internet!

Today's episode is all about prioritizing.
What's ironic about that is the fact that I actually recorded this episode late on a Thursday night, because I got so caught up in all this other work that I almost forgot to put out an episode.
Don't worry though... I didn't forget.
So if you have ever found yourself in a situation where your plate is just too full (which I'm sure we all have) then take a listen to this episode and get my crash course on prioritization.
It is definitely one of the first things you need to do in order to manage your time, maximize your efficiency, and keep everything under control.

How important do you think it really is to have a daily routine?
Having a routine can help your body and your mind keep up with life, because you are just conditioning each (or both) to get a certain amount done each day.
Now, obviously everyone's routine is different, and everyone achieves different levels of success throughout the day.
This is because there are all sorts of ways to manipulate your routine and make the most out of it... or just not even have a routine at all and still get ahead.
So at the end of the day, whether or not a routine would be beneficial to you could depend on who you are.
Your identity.

At some point I just realized that I haven't really done much to keep people in the loop with exactly what I do since day 1 of this podcast.
So today, I am going to go back over who it is that I am and what it is that I do.
I talk a lot about business, personal management, and other topics... but why should anyone listen to me?
Well that's a good question. Hopefully, there is reason enough in this episode for people to listen to me.
So make sure that if you think I'm worthy, you simply share my podcast "JRP DAILY" with a friend. Maybe even two friends.
Share it with anyone you think might benefit from you, because that's better than just letting it go by.
Also, if you want to keep up with what I'm doing, you should follow me on Instagram, Twitter, and keep an eye on my website.
This way you can ask me any questions you have so I can help you, and you can help me.
Remember, entrepreneurship is not about working for yourself, but about working with others.

I see too many people in the business world now that have no idea how to value their time, their product, or their service.
I am getting real sick of seeing courses, e-books, webinars, and whatever being "valued" at $97, $997, $4,997, or whatever else.
When you put a dollar amount on the value of your product, what are you basing that off of?
Is it off of the cost it took to make the product? Is it off of some amount of return your consumer can expect from the product?
No, it's usually not.
This is the oldest trick in the book to make consumers think that they are saving money.
Remember those old commercials for like frying pans and boats that would say "This is a ____ dollar value, but call the number on your screen and get yours for just $____!!"
Yeah, they were really saying that so that you thought you were saving, and then pricing it at what they actually thought it was worth.
The truth is, at the end of the day, people are going to pay you what your product or service is worth. So just be upfront with them about it. If you can provide a value of $500, then just charge $500. Don't go around saying your service is "valued at" $1,497 but this customer has the opportunity to get it for "just" $497.
Money is just a tool we use to represent value in a tangible way.
So if you don't understand how to value your service or how to value your product... it is good to keep this in mind.
To learn more about what's happening in online business, entrepreneurship, marketing, and more... make sure you are subscribed to "JRP DAILY" and that you leave us a review on iTunes if you are able. This will help the podcast grow and reach more ears so that we can actually change the way that people think and make a difference.
ANNND if you would like to follow me on social media/see my other content... you can do that too.

Before we get started with the actual description, we want to mention that we ARE aware of the traffic going by outside the window every so often and we apologize if it gets really annoying. It was annoying for us too.
Okay now that that's out of the way, we sat down this week and took a deep discussion into how to actually keep up with your life in college and then soon after college.
Ourselves and we're sure a lot of folks our age have at least some level of uncertainty when it comes to what they are going to do with the rest of their lives... they should.
So we took the time this week to really break that down and give our "expert" advice on how to handle it.
That doesn't necessarily mean we are trying to tell anyone what to do... but kind of breaking down the way that we are approaching our lives from this point forward. In the midst of all of that, we will give you some mentality tips and tricks so you can adjust your approach and see if it helps you out at all.
If you ever want to reach out to either of us, just find us on the internet! All of our information (that you need) can be found below!

This is a topic I touched on in episode 137 on how to invest in yourself, and decided to expand on today.
To me, this is the NUMBER ONE tip I can give you financially. Learning that your money and your time to not have to be directly tied from each other.
This is exactly why some people go through their life with a financial ceiling... because they are stuck in the mentality that their time at work is directly tied to the money they can make.
Whereas the rich keep getting richer not because of some corrupt system or any other reason... but because they have mastered this art of separating their time from their money.... so they can just keep scaling their income up and up and up.
This episode will help you better understand the concept of separating time and money, and how exactly you yourself can make more money in less time.
Enjoy.

So any of you social media adventurers probably know that both platforms Facebook and Instagram were down for some time this week due to... well who really knows.
I thought it was the perfect prompt to make an episode about this though. It's not smart to get yourself too comfortable with these platforms, or any platform for that matter. They will die.
All good things come to and end and it might be a time to come... but it will happen.
So what would you do if you were running an Instagram account with 150k followers and Instagram went down tomorrow?
Do you have a blog so that you can keep your affiliate links alive?
Do you have a podcast so that people can still hear what you have to say?
Do you have a YouTube channel, so that you can still keep everyone updated with what you're doing?
It's a good idea to diversify on social media, even when you're putting all of your attention and focus into one.
This is what will keep you ahead when your platform goes down, and while everyone scrambles, you can jump on to the backups real quick, and be up and running in no time.
Please share this episode with someone. They need to know.
