I was in a coaching session a couple days ago and I said something that I never really considered before.

It relates to this classic positivism advice that "we are always at the right place and where and when we are supposed to be."

This phrase is used to encourage people to shift to the perspective that we can learn from every moment.

Yet, in this video I raise a question about this advice...

In 2013, when I started pursuing to passion of becoming a leadership trainer, I started a blog with the expectation that everyone had to like what I wrote.

I needed everyone to support my cause. Otherwise, I wasn't doing a good job at sharing my message, or my message wasn't any good.

I was wrong in this belief, but the feelings were real.

Today, those fears have evolved but I have figured out I don't need to be liked by everyone.
