Those of you who are fans of Marvel and DC comic heroes might often think of God and or Jesus as a superhero with a "mighty sword" or "magic shield."  Our imagination can often lead us down the wrong image of a God who came to us poor and lowly, a God who emptied Himself out so that we might be saved.  Let us put aside those distractions and look to our Mighty God as the one who saves us.
