Lance Hillsinger is an author of books targeting to change inequalities. After working as a child welfare social worker for thirty-four years, he became a homeowner decades ago when housing was more affordable. He offers ideas that would increase homeownership rates and the supply of affordable apartments.  Even if he lives in the US, I think most of what he discussed could apply to Canada.
