  • I'm A Shitty Gaslighter with My Mom

I met my mother the day I was born in Jefferson Hospital in the month of May back in 1986. She has been a major source of inspiration in my life (as well as strife -- like any Jewish mother worth her weight) and whom I often credit as the source of my incredible self-esteem.

In this interview we talk about... well, I'm going to be honest: it's best you just experience this one as it comes to you. It's certainly the most insightful and candid conversation I've recorded so far and is just as funny as it is dark depending on your perspective. About nine years ago my mom was in a car crash that nearly claimed her life and left her speech a little slurred. Since then she has become immensely self-conscious and worried about looking foolish and on this special night (Thanksgiving of last month -- go figure) she was particularly vulnerable and shared things that she apparently has never shared before. After many conversations about what to keep and what to cut (and wether I should even post this at all) my mother agreed to take a gamble on me and share this very emotionally charged episode and once again I can't help but feel an unspeakable amount of gratitude that she is my mom and that we have such a relationship that I can share my art with her by sharing this episode with all of you.

  • I'm C-3PO with Robin Van Auken

Robin's my cousin. My memories of her as a kid are of a fun-loving magician with an incredible imagination. I lived in Los Angeles for three years before realizing she lived a only a few blocks away from me and had turned just as neurotically self-involved as I had.

In this interview we talk about my relationships and... well, my relationships mostly: My relationship with women, my relationship with my family, and especially my relationship with my mom.

  • I'm Silent Bob with Bruce Clifford

I met Bruce on set in Philadelphia during a time where I seemed to be attracting tall men into my life... That sounds like the opening of a 'Sex in the City' episode -- not that there's anything wrong with that.

I jinxed this conversation immediately by shitting on Philadelphian accents and then proceeding to talk without using any vowels through the entire conversation but if you listen closely you can make out some thoughts about picking up women, following your passion, and my downstairs neighbor.

  • I'm A Victim with Kate Marshall

Kate and I met almost a year ago when I was looking for documentary work to add to my editing reel. What transpired was an affectionate friendship between myself, her, and her business partner Camilla Alvarado who I'm sure I'll interview in the future but right now we're talking about Kate.

In this interview we investigate three fictional characters that describe me best, my perpetual victimhood, and my righteous passive aggression. I think we're off to a great start!
