  • Heartbreak is fundamental for human development

Do you think heartbreak has changed you? I believe heartbreak can make or break you. During heartbreak you can experience a heightened experience of growth. One thing you can not do is let it make you bitter or cynical about love. For a long time I let my anger and bitterness take root, I now challenge myself to let heartbreak change me positively.

  • Quiet Time is Everything

There are times where you just need to be quiet and still. As a person I can be very combative, but I have learned that sometimes the best thing to do is nothing. To live and maintain your peace you just have to keep still. Sometimes what some people want is a reaction, that is how they get off in life to provoke other people. But falling in that trap will only disturb your peace not there's.

  • People who Make us feel bad...this is for you
Ya I am done with that energy! Let’s chat about people thinking that they are ultimately better than you. And let me remind you, the person who believes that is usually way worse than you. You probably don’t have time for those thoughts because you are drinking water and minding your business.
There is nothing worse than a clown hopping out of their clown car and speaking down to you. The enlightened part of me wants to say, “the reflection of the hurtful things they say is said because they are unhappy with life.” But the super hood side wants me to tell you that’s only partially true.
Yes, they are disempowered, but they also want power, and they see you as powerful, so they want to tap in. Seriously, haven’t you noticed someone broke and miserable, but somehow they find themselves positioned in other people's lives advising and directing. However, people with actual lives don’t dictate other people's lives.
I believe that disempowered people are so disconnected they don’t even know how crazy they sound. And because they have no power, they maximize their superpower of manipulation, making you and I feel as though they are all-knowing and we are to fall in line. Simply by making you feel like something is wrong with you or suggesting they would like you more if… This is common in relationships, and when you want someone, you overlook the obvious red flag, or maybe you are in a transitional phase, so you don’t even notice it. People take it to their advantage, and they make it seem like you need their validation. And the day you don’t do what they say, they take shots.

  • Bad Emails
I know how much you guys want the business podcast to come back, and I promise it will. But I decided to do a podcast about nasty emails because I think it's something that we really need to talk about. Suppose you run a business or you are the head of a company. In that case, you really need to practice this because email etiquette is crucial. This will have people not support your business if you continue to answer them with a passive-aggressive undertone. There should never be any reason to email somebody passive-aggressively. Because of the simple fact that an email is not something where you are in person, you have the ability with email if you are having a bad day or tired of people to clean up your behaviour because it is words. Believe it or not, it is straightforward to tell when someone is having a bad day because of the kinds of emails they send to other people. Nothing is grosser than a passive-aggressive email, especially to personal email accounts.

  • Losing in Freedom
How do you feel about losing?
There can be winning in losing. The best kind of win is winning yourself back. I read that losing is freedom, and I never thought about that. I never aim to lose; I try my damnedest before I do. This concept was complex to grapple with. I had to think deeply about this, and I dove a bit further and focused on the relationship that I had to win. Dumping him, although sad, was also very freeing. I realized I don't have to get my hair done weekly, wear makeup all the time, attend dinners I don't want to go to. I was able to reclaim my time, and that was freedom. I had to lose something to gain something back.
Therefore, I reflected on what I had lost or been rejected from. This idea that failure, loss, rejection, is terrible but on the other side is freedom. Because the expectations have been dropped, you and I get to design the next phase of our lives in starting over. We always have the right to choose, although it doesn't feel that way when we equate loss. But loss and being lost equals freedom. It is a self-directed new start, as in losing a job. It is depressing, and y'all know I did a podcast about that, but in my loss, after the grief, I was able to direct myself to my dream career only because I was lost.

  • Blac Chyna Verdict
I don't think it comes as a surprise that Blac Chyna did not win her case. I believe that she might've had a more substantial chance had she stepped off-line for a few years, and nobody had seen how she was spending money or what she was buying. However, the jury has decided that the Kardashians are not in the wrong. Do I agree? Well, listen and find out. I really do like Blac Chyna, and I feel like there is a comeback for her. Still, it's a bit questionable at this time because whatever she does next will be a huge issue when it comes to her appeal. I think it's some point, people have to be honest about who they are as a person and where they need to change because if they don't and don't grow, it will only stay for them further.

  • Motivation is for Losers
What drives you? Are you waiting for motivation? This is for you. Motivation is not a thing; it is not sustainable. And often, you like me use it as a crutch. However, you generally have to motivate yourself, and you need passion to do that. Notice when you are passionate about something, you are quick to do it. A whole part of psychology is called the psychology of motivation because motives make people do things they never thought they could or were capable of doing. It all has to do with neuroplasticity and creating new neurons, and that's what purpose does. Purpose trumps motivation because it’s the bigger picture and usually fuelled by passion. Ever notice that you are exhausted, but if you have an assignment due, you magically have just enough energy to do it? That’s because doing the assignment is in line with your purpose and so even through you are tired you still can do it.
Intrinsic motivation is more powerful than external because. As YOU have to want something, and purpose creates passion which creates inspiration. The whole expression mind over matter is the basis here. No one can want something for you; it is something that you have to want. Waiting to be motivated will have you waiting forever. You need to get up and get to the task at hand.
