A short episode for those with real things to do. Kallis has returned from an event he is legally not allowed to discuss but finds time to go off on one about have facebook ad rejected, being a loud nit picky film nerd and the hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton's saying know one like Bernie Sanders.
This episode starts off like a conversation in a long-term relationship, with an apology (for unnoticed technical glitches in EP10). Two new improv segments are introduced, listen to find out what the hell the "Night of The Hunter" and "National Enquirer" games are. Today's rants include fantasy cliches in "The Witcher" TV series, Laurence Fox becoming a renter-a-gob and crappy runner jobs.
Kallis starts the podcast before Liverpool V Man Utd game and finishes it after, just so you can see his mood change. He then rants about 80s Action Movie cliches, playing "Codenames", characters in films who are just there to explain the plot and suggests his ideas for Meghan & Harry's Netflix series
Kallis rants about being too lazy to have an agenda, negging estate agents, free sport, the Whoopi Goldberg film "Jumpin Jack Flash" & other Rolling Stones guff, Arnold Schwarzenegger One Liners, Johnny Marr and Hans Zimmer Bond score, witnessing a heckler & stalker at a Doug Stanhope gig and other heckler stories.
Kallis fires off straight away at Laurence Fox's comments on Question Time, hypocritical film casting, Joe Louis, the benefits of a crap phone, AFCON, why all my acting roles have been playing idiots.
Kallis rants about being loud in restaurants, the most dangerously made films, old guys making action movies, why Paxman should host Bake-off and the biggest lies on the internet.
Kallis disagrees with some of his comments in EP19 causing him to rant about the difference between what you think and what you feel, why he hates people who say "I'm playing Devil's Advocate", why he thinks sitting on the fence is good for comedy, the three things that dictate his mood, not wanting to be "That guy!", Steve Martin's films with Carl Reiner and British TV detective shows created purely from a play on words.
Kallis keeps it short but bitter ranting about Vince Vaughn, Big Ben, Smoking and avoiding correcting people...all while getting angry at the microphone for not working.
Kallis is at his new temporary abode which is great, but he tries his best to not shout his head off on the first night. He rants about Allen Carr's book to quit smoking, Huawei, robots made from frog cells and to mark the number he discusses about the excitement of sneaking into 18 rated films when he was a teen (and 15 rated films but he's done that number episode already).
Kallis rants about why guys refusing to cry is a weakness not a strength, belated Y2K problems, the "Festival of Brexit", the first DVDs I bought and watching Flash Gordon/Jason & the Argonauts on a Sunday afternoon.
