Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday suggested potential military action against Israel, drawing parallels to Turkey's involvement in Karabakh and Libya.
In response, foreign minister Yisrael Katz urged NATO to expel Turkey. "Erdogan is following in the footsteps of Saddam Hussein and threatening to attack Israel. He should remember what happened there and how it ended," Katz said in the statement.
KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with Alon Liel, the former head of Israel’s mission in Turkey, and asked him if we should be worried about Erdogan’s threats?
