A new document has been discovered that could have a significant bearing on the controversial sale of the large parking lot in Jerusalem’s Old City Armenian quarter to developers who plan to build a hotel on the site.
The document from 1574 purports to show that the land in question is supposed to benefit the Armenian community and therefore the Armenian patriarch of Jerusalem who sold the land 3 years ago had no right to do so.
Jerusalem attorney Danny Seidemann, who is helping the Armenian community, spoke with KAN's Mark Weiss about the dispute and the latest twist.
