Kap & J.Hood

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champion and Bears radio analyst Tom Thayer joined Kap & J. Hood with the latest updates on the Chicago Bears offseason.  Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox are now in 1st place in the AL Central beating the Braves again 2-1, the Cubs are so broken and may not be fixable!  Losing again to the Rockies.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox who beat the Braves AGAIN 2-1 and now are in 1st place in the AL Central. They are all alone at the top, after yet another gutty win, and they took the series from the Braves... When will you start to believe they are really going to do this and hang a division banner? The Cubs Ace Shota Imanaga shoved at Coors Field, as we all expected. Yet, the Cubs have only mustered 1 run and even a win wouldn't be all that inspiring with how this offense continues to scuffle along..

Hour 3: Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, took a trip Around The NFL and the Kap & J. Hood Cut of The Day.

Hour 2:  Former Chicago Bears Wide Receiver and afternoon radio co-host ESPN Chicago Tom Waddle joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears offseason.  Kap & J. Hood discussed should the Cubs be seriously considering moving on from Craig Counsell?  How much faith do you really have that they are going to snap out of this and save the season? Everything is slipping away, but what if they just aren't very good? If they do lose tonight, they'll be 14-23 outside of the 3 10-game streaks.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox who beat the Braves 6-5 in walk-off fashion.  This city has an incredible wealth of young talent on our teams right now, but which of our major teams has the best young core, and is it insane to say it's the White Sox? Between Vargas, Colson, Jacob Gonzalez, the newly minted Braden Montgomery, Meidroth, Peters...

Hour 3: NFL Insider for SI.com Albert Breer joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears and the latest NFL storylines. Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, took a trip Around The NFL and the Kap & J. Hood Cut of The Day.

Hour 2:  Kap & J. Hood discussed Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby is currently allowed to play after a Texas district judge granted him a temporary injunction against the NCAA, which had initially ruled him permanently ineligible for gambling. Sorsby admitted to placing thousands of wagers totaling at least $90,000, including bets on his own team.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox and Cubs.  Both teams had the day off, and a look at the metrics shows the Cubs and Sox are virtually identical over the full season in offensive production, tying for 6th in the league by WRC+... Which lineup would you rather have?  Is the Cubs series in Colorado a must win, or is it still too early to say that?

Hour 3: Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, took a trip Around The NFL, opened the Friday Folder and the Kap & J. Hood Cut of The Day.

Hour 2:  MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.    Kap & J. Hood remembers Chicago Bulls broadcaster Stacey King, who died Sunday at the age of 59. The Cubs season is absolutely insane; the story of the game came in the 2nd inning. The bad news is another SP is gone down; the good news is Cubs fans didn't have to watch Jameson Taillon pitch.
