We talk about getting the right consistency when making cement to use in posts, walkways, and for your mailbox. We talk about the metaphor of a champion that keeps on training, even after they have achieved something, in order to keep moving forward with their progress. We cover the claw finger strike and some weight shifting drills when grabbing your opponent in fighting drills. Remember, don't get stuck in life... like cement!

In this episode, we identify the "stupid reasons" that people use to keep them from making good decisions and achieving their goals. In the work task, we identify what these reasons could be, the history behind them, bring them down to the ridiculous, and see if they hold up or not. If not, them the decision should be clear path to achieving your goal and not letting anything get in our way. In the martial art practice, we focus on front hand and front leg techniques because they are often overlooked and a metaphor to not letting small things stop us in the future.

In this episode, we look at the work task of ripping a nail from a piece of wood which is the opposite of what we usually see in the Karate Kid Movies because they never show when they have to clean up a mess. In this job, you have to use leverage to remove nails using a hammer or crowbar to get them out effectively. In the martial art practice, we examine the "martial art push" used to adjust the situation by adjusting the distance in a self defense situation to keep you striking. In your mental training, we have to re-purpose and re-use old school conditioning (just like re-using wood) and things that work.
