At seven, her grandfather — a Cherokee Medicine Man —

and hers came blazing through the cancer wards,

as she massaged her mother into the afterlife —

one tear at a time,

until grief opened the gate to her calling.

She left the world of crisp suits and recruiter scripts

to walk barefoot with the dying —

hands anointed,

unafraid to look death in the face and say:

Since 2002, she’s run HealingWithKat,

but healing’s never been the whole story.

Not in a system that cages plants and criminalizes roots.

So Kat sat with the ancient ones —

peyote, psilocybin, ayahuasca, cannabis —

not for the high,

but for the homecoming.

She trained in the Netherlands where it’s legal to remember.

And now she fights —

not with fists,

but with ceremonies and sweat,

for the decriminalization of Nature Herself.
