Huckleberry was adopted by widow Douglas.

Huck lived with widow and her sister Miss Watson, and the latter's slave Jim.

Huck was gradually "tamed" by widow and went to school and learnt to read and write a little.

Huck's ignorant dad came to warn Huck to give the $6000 he got from Injun Joe case to him.

Huck sneaked to judge Thatcher and told the latter about his father's blackmailing.

Judge Thatcher put the money to the bank and gave Huck one dollar a day.

Huck signed a paper acknowledging he agreed to what Thatcher had decided.

Huck's dad kidnapped Huck.

Huck was locked inside dad's hut in the woods.

Dad didn't take any care of Huck and left him alone in the hut for three days locked up inside.

Huck began to dig secret hole under the wall.

Huck stole dad's gun while he was drunk.

Dad humiliated Huck for being educated and bade him to go get fish for the night.

Huck found a small canoe in the river and hid it.

Huck stole dad's provisions and hid it onto canoe.

Huck returned and used dad's rifle and crashed dad's hut's door.

Huck killed a pig which bled a lot on the floor.

Huck put some of his own hair onto the pig's blood on the floor.

Huck fled in canoe down Mississippi with pig's meat and provided for himself.

Huck found townspeople took a boat went searching for himself.

People were without avail and returned to St. Petersburg.

Huck was finally free.

Tom broke in the Number Two Place and saw Joe inside.

Boys decided to watch the cheap hotel taking turns.

On Huck's shift, he saw Joe leaving with the money bag.

Huck followed Joe up widow Douglas'es house.

Joe swore to punish widow because widow's deceased husband treated him bad.

Huck fled to Welshman's house to ask for help.

Welsh old pap came to rescue widow.

Children of the village took a boat down the river to bat cave.

Whole crew returned in the boat except Tom and Becky.

Two got lost inside the big bat cave.

When searching route to get out, Tom bumped into Joe's secrecy again.

Joe didn't notice Tom.

Joe buried his money and went out of the cave.
