Anyone who has ever learned a language knows that the basics have to be mastered first, such as verb tenses, common phrases, grammatical structure and word syntax.
That is, of course, because you have to learn all the rules before you can break them.
Right?
While that may be true, "inappropriate" or "incorrect" usages of language can contribute to shape, develop and spice up the common vernacular, particularly among young people.
In today's episode we move outside the classroom and into the streets to look for the language that you can't find described in textbooks, and our guest Halim Saghir, a first generation Kebabnorsk speaker, will guide us through some kebabnorsk basics.
