I also think about how social media can be a force for good and a great outlet for creativity. I look at various different aspects of social media and give advice on how I believe we can stop it from controlling our lives.

Most women and a large amount of men have been victims of sexual harassment to some degree. We need to keep talking about this. This is a guest episode where Nommy Mlalazi and I discuss the issue of racism and think about the Black Lives Matter movement that became prominent in May 2020 following the death of George Floyd. So much change has come as a result of this movement but there is still a long way to go. Nommy was a speaker at the St Albans Black Lives Matter Protest in June 2020 and in this episode she speaks about her experience growing up in a predominantly white area and how she and others she knows have been affected by racism. She shares her thoughts on different issues linked to race and offers valuable insight on how we can further educate ourselves and how we can strive to be actively anti-racist as individuals and as a society.

We are constantly striving for success in our lives but we also need to focus on looking after ourselves and becoming more mindful. This leads to personal development and growth. I believe we can all benefit from improving our mindset and attitude. I view mindfulness and personal development as not mutually exclusive at all but very much one and the same. In todays episode I discuss various ways we can all focus on mindfulness and personal development such as through adopting 'A Growth Mindset', personal reflection and our treatment of others.
