Gratitude is something I am very passionate about and so I wanted to have a bit of a chat about it and think about how we can all practice gratitude in our day to day lives and why it's important and beneficial. I also talk a bit about journaling and give some journal prompts linked to gratitude to help us get started.

This is a very special guest episode with the wonderful Sheena Wilkinson. Sheena is a Northern Irish writer and in this episode we discuss her career as a writer and what this encompasses and she shares how she brings her stories to life. Sheena mainly writes young adult and historical fiction and has won many awards for her books; she has won five Children’s Books Ireland awards. Her insights are so valuable and I can't recommend this episode enough.

As I have been at the University of Edinburgh for a few weeks now, I thought it could be fun to chat about the reality of Freshers week and all the highs and lows that come with starting University. It's not perfect but I've been having a lot of fun. I give you some details about accommodation, meeting your flat mates, starting lectures and tutorials and managing your time as well as homesickness and coping with this.
