Keep It Simple Boston

•The biggest story beyond the 26–19 win is how badly the Patriots' offensive line was hit. Three starting linemen left Sunday's game with injuries, creating major questions heading into a Thursday night game with only a short recovery window.

•1. The offensive line took a major hit

Morgan Moses — right tackle

Left the Jets game with a right ankle/foot injury and did not return.

Was seen wearing a walking boot after the game.

Was listed as limited on Monday's estimated injury report.

His availability is crucial because the Patriots need reliable protection for Drake Maye.

•Alijah Vera-Tucker — left guard

Left with a hamstring injury.

Did not participate in Monday's estimated practice report.

His absence could force another reshuffle across the interior offensive line.

The key concern is whether he can recover in time for Thursday.

•Ben Brown — interior offensive line

Was helped off the field after suffering a knee injury.

Did not participate in Monday's estimated practice report.

His injury further depleted a unit that was already short on healthy options.

New England may have to rely on backups and players adjusting to unfamiliar positions.

•2. The other injuries worth watching

•Romeo Doubs — wide receiver: Suffered a shoulder injury after scoring a 42-yard touchdown and was placed on injured reserve. He will miss at least four games, leaving New England without an important receiving option.

•A.J. Brown — wide receiver: Returned from a high ankle sprain against the Jets but was limited on Monday's estimated report. He caught three passes for 27 yards, with three drops. The question is whether he can get healthier and improve his connection with Maye.

•Drake Maye — quarterback: Had been dealing with a right shoulder issue entering the Jets game but was listed as a full participant on Monday's estimated report. That's encouraging, though continued monitoring is sensible.

•Will Campbell — left tackle: Entered the Jets game with a knee issue but was listed as a full participant on Monday. His health is especially important with the other offensive-line injuries mounting.

•3. Can the Patriots protect Maye against Chicago?

The Patriots could be forced to use backup linemen and make multiple position changes.

Caleb Lomu, Matt Pryor, and Walter Rouse were among the players who stepped in against the Jets.

The makeshift line deserves credit: New England ran for 148 yards on 36 carries and did not allow a sack against New York.

However, Chicago presents another challenge, especially with the short turnaround from Sunday to Thursday.

If the line cannot hold up, Maye could face more pressure, fewer clean passing opportunities, and a greater risk of taking hits.

The coaching staff must balance keeping Maye protected with maintaining the running game.

•4. The big podcast debate

Questions to discuss on air

Is the offensive-line injury situation the biggest threat to the Patriots' winning streak?

Should New England prioritize getting healthy starters back, even if they aren't at 100%?

Can the backups repeat their strong performance against a more challenging opponent?

Should the Patriots lean heavily on the running game and quick passes to protect Maye?

How much does losing Doubs hurt an offense that was beginning to find its rhythm?

If Moses, Vera-Tucker, and Brown are unavailable, how worried should Patriots fans be about Thursday night
