Last episode of 2021!!!  

It is a longer episode than usual this week, but we promise, it is  good one! We are super excited for you guys to hear this weeks episode with Ricky Bobby (aka the KIC podcast producer and the man behind the cams!). Ricky is a Juno Award winning Music Manager... he is the manager behind many artists' successful careers including Toronto's very own Jazz Cartier.   Ricky gives us his story on how he went from just a kid who loved instruments in Etobicoke to an award winning music manager and content house/recording studio owner (shout out to The Cookhouse Recording Studio)! He has gone from internships at Much Music to working at Universal alongside major execs and has even had the opportunity to work with artists like MGK, Hedley and more!  Behind his story of how he got to where he is today, Ricky also tells us some of the lessons he has learned along the way... such as treating people like plants! Yes, plants. You'll understand what we mean once you listen to the episode. He also tells us some great advice he got which states, " There is always someone out there willing to do more to  be in your place"... aka, be grateful and appreciative for where you are. Put your all into what you're doing until it no longer serves you, then move on to bigger and better things!

This week Sam & Fran are talking MONEY BABY$$$$$ The girls have money expert , media personalty and host of the More Money Podcast, Jessica Moorhouse on! Stocks don't have to be scary... in this episode Sam & Fran get some great advice on how to invest in stocks the smart way! Sometimes the oversaturated social media 'investment' culture can get the best of us and really bring up a lot of confusion with regards to this topic! On this weeks episode, we are joined with fitness coach Eric Pimentel. Eric opens up about his struggle with opioid addiction and the struggles he went through on a daily basis throughout this hard time in his life. We touch on how hard it was for him to just wake up every day and the internal battles he faced when deciding to let his loved ones know. We also discuss how he has succeeded as a fitness coach, and has used his past experiences to motivate his clients both physically and mentally!   We also bust some fitness myths and discuss dieting, "good" vs "bad" foods, and much more! This week is a mind, body, soul series episode! Although we don't have a guest joining us, we get DEEP and answer some personal questions that we usually wouldnt talk about on a regular basis. We talk about the lies we've been telling ourselves all our lives, anxiety surrounding the topic of death, and some controversial opinions such as what has been going on with the vaccine passport as of recently...  We believe that a part of growth is being able to talk through things, and being able to get deep and dive into questions that you wouldn't normally think about is a great way to get thoughts of your chest and move forward with clarity.   Stay tuned to the end where we have a fun segment of 'Finish The Jingle'.

The girls go through their TOP tips to make sure you impress jussssst enough without looking like a kiss ass. Specifically, they discuss how soon after dating should you meet their fam, how to deal with complicated family dynamics (some cases you might need to meet two separate sides of the fam!), what to do if you have a monster-in-law on your hands (cue desire to watch JLO movie), and so much more.
