Keith Price's Curtain Call

As I reintroduce my love of all performers, especially comedians, I am thrilled to bring you my reboot to the Lavender Laugh Lounge. It's a chance to sit down with some of my favorite type of actors, comedians. From time to time, as a little bit of a bonus, I will be dropping my conversations with these funny people, like fellow podcaster, comedian, actor, Adam Sank. Who, during the interview, talks about his evolution as a performer right up to his announcement that he's leaving comedy. He also shares the impact of his HIV status on his life and career.

In every case, he is really a great guy. A few days after this interview he asked me if I would host his final goodbye shows at the historical Stonewall Inn.

In a bit of a departure from traditional theater conversation for this podcast, Songwriter/Producer/Performer, Chas Bronxson, stops by to chat with me about his project Group H.U.G.S. I love that he is paying homage to many of the groups that have influenced modern music. We sit and talk about his life, career, influences, and how anger fueled this project. Please enjoy my conversation with my new friend, Charles "Chas" Bronxson, and in his own words, his current approach to music is “working for a cause and not for applause.”

Singing the unheard songs of the late Jonathan Larson at Feinstein's 54 Below is the brainchild of Producer/Creator/Booker/Theater Historian, Jennifer Ashley Tepper. She has cleverly gathered some of Broadway's brightest and most talented crew,( Krysta Rodriguez, Lauren Marcus, George Salazar, Andy Mientus, and Nick Blemire) to bring those treasures to life.

2018 TONY and DRAMA DESK Award winner, Lindsey Mendez, returns to Feinstein's 54 Below to turn it out and up with her AMAZING voice. I have been a fan of Lindsey since the moment I saw her in DOGFIGHT. She showed how amazing her range is in Carousel. She is truly a one of a kind performer that has broken a few more barriers by just being a talented person, who happens to be Latina!!!!!
